“Stopped in this place while on my quest to find the best green chili smothered burrito in the southwest, while road tripping to spring training in Arizona. This place is so rad. It’s a retro narrow diner in old downtown Gallup. The neon lights are cool. Food was exactly what I wanted, green chili New Mexican food. Loved it! Will be back next year!“
“Hometown type dinner. Not fancy, but the burgers were great. Service was lackluster. Waited for a long time for a drink refill and never got it, even after requesting it. I get that the place was busy, but that you’d think they would put more effort for the tip. Maybe we went on a bad day, who knows. All in all, I’d go again for the food… but I’ll bring a water bottle just in case.“
“Really like The Rocket. Reasonable prices and excellent service. Plus, the package store next door carries some of the brands that I normally find difficult to find in Gallup. Dalmore Cigar Single Malt, Johnny Walker Blue, Drambuie, Limoncello...“
“Mama Mia, what awesome food and service! We wound up here on Sunday morning. With a full parking lot, I thought we’d be standing around, waiting for a table. Seated at the bar and had the best experience ever. You have never seen a faster moving crew than these gals. Not a motion wasted, or a guest left unattended. And the most beautiful food! Perfect bacon, huge pancakes, dusted French Toast. You will love it, we did.“
