Don't judge a book by it's cover. Except that from the outside, the Third Street Tavern looks like what it is. It's a local watering hole for people who live in the neighborhood and want pool tables and inexpensive drinks. My order was warmly taken and my beer was opened. I was offered a glass. I say with my Miller Lite and watched the comings and goings for a bit. One and done. It's an A-OK spot. [Review 21058 overall - 106 in New Mexico - 21 of 2024.]
Quaint little local bar. Very friendly bartender who is extremely particular about keeping the establishment especially clean. Also, the tavern is adjoined to a packaged liquor store and convience store. Great stop for a cold beer and a bit of local history.
