Food was awful. Servers way too busy but nice when she got to our table. Drinks from the bar were bad. Eat somewhere else

The opportunity to have authentic Navajo food is what drew us to the Fire Rock Casino's Cheii restaurant. Our waitress, Wenona, patiently told us about the different dishes, and we chose lamb stew with blue corn mush, and fry bread. The fry bread covered an entire plate!
Everything was delicious! Our sincere compliments to th chef. The experience was amazing, and our deep-felt thanks to Wenona and the chef.

Pro tip: don't put steaming hot chicken on a bed of lettuce and then close the to go box. The lettuce looks 4 days old. It's soggier than a wet diaper and just as appetizing smh

The lamb stew was fatty. There was more fat than meat. The fry bread had puddles of oil. The oil wasn’t drained before being served. The blue atole that came with the lamb stew was a nice surprise and perfectly made. The cherry pie was atrocious. The texture of the crust was mushy and flavor of the cherry pie was tart. Also close parking was difficult to find. There’s plenty of parking at the further parking lot. The employees were fast and nice. Active atmosphere.

My first visit to Fire Rock Casino on the eastern part of Dinétah (Navajo Nation).I went on a Friday night around 7p to eat. There was a line when I got there, it took about 50 mins to get seated. Even for the bar section, I was alone. This restaurant has plenty of seating and daily specials. Friday was prime rib night. You may want to check what’s the special for the night. If you order drinks, get your ID out and keep it out of you want any additional drinks. They will scan your ID each time you order.Service was excellent and quick. I ordered my drinks first and waited about 15 mins to order my food, and when I ordered, my food was out within 7 mins. I was dining alone so my orders come out quick.I was surprised a lot of people there were there to eat and watch the New Mexico High School State Games that was being when there.
