Portions have shrunk here. Still the same quality of food. Just a bit less of it. Prices have been adjusted just like everywhere else. But the atmosphere has not changed. It's still a great Mexican restaurant. Just don't plan on going home with leftovers.
The staff was nice and gracious in serving us even though we were arriving 1 hour before closing. The food quality and taste was not good. Them allowing people to walk up to customers trying to eat and solicit us to buy jewelry is another negative of this business.
1st time I tried this place, could not find another Mexican food restaurant open in Gallup on Sunday
El sombrero restaurant was very good, I had the chili rellenos with green chili and beans. I also ordered a hamburger patty side which they topped with green chili
