Oasis Mediterranean restaurant

In Gallup, there’s not too many choices. I love Mediterranean food so we we decided to stop here. We split the vegetarian plate, tabouli salad and extra falafel. They were out of the grape leaves so I got extra falafel. The hummus was good but I think the pita was microwaved to warm up. It was soft when I start eating it but got hard afterwards. I did like the falafel, a good size but could have a little more spice. The tabouli was just ok. Very tart. I would eat here again but not a favorite. Sorry I forgot to take photos as we ate it in the car. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-16

Decent food. Portions are small for the price. Would I eat here again? Most probably not. Upscale prices in a old hamburger joint.

I was looking for a celiac, friendly fresh and delicious meal as I was driving through Gallup and this one came up highly rated by ChatGPT and indeed it was amazing. I highly recommend the lentils which were fantastic and the oasis salad, which has finally chopped cucumbers, peppers, onion, along with walnuts, and olives, and I added the grilled chicken, which was phenomenal.! definitely go support this local business 🫶😋

My only regret about this place is that there is not an Oasis back at home in New Jersey! Second time enjoying the fantastic food this place serves up this week and plan on returning. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful going above and beyond to provide exactly what you want. I requested chicken shawarma over the Oasis salad and it did not disappoint.

We really enjoyed our meal here and will return whenever we're in Gallup. The server was very knowledgeable about vegan food and made helpful suggestions. The falafel was the best I've ever had!

Wow! The food here is the absolute best! I honestly wanted to go right back for more..😭 Who would have thought in little ole Gallup,NM that this amazing food was here waiting for me! We ordered the Beef shish kabob entree and the falafel pita sandwich..the best I've ever had and we travel all over the US for work so we can say this with all honesty! We can't wait to come back through and try new items!

Excellent service. The waitress was fantastic. I can't eat onions and she helped me find a great meal. I would go back even though there isn't much I could eat. My friend's order looked amazing too.

Not open on Wednesday ☹️

Stopped in while we were passing through Gallup and were pleased to find this place. We were looking for something healthy and light before getting back on the road for another three hours, and this caught our eye.

My wife and I split the shawarma chicken sandwich (pita wrap) and an order of fries, and it was delicious. It's sized just big enough to be a decent portion for one or two pretty light portions, so the fries balanced it out and we would've had room for dessert if we'd wanted. It's clearly made fresh, and our order came out very quickly. I was surprised it wasn't busier when we came by.

The restaurant looks like it was once a Freddy's or other generic classic burger joint that was repurposed, so it's very open, bright, and a bit utilitarian inside, with red and white color pattern on some of the furniture; but the food makes up for it. They also have a small selection of olives, spices, and other pantry items for sale.

Excellent food! Beautiful and clean Mediterranean restaurant within the shopping center at I-40 bordering AZ and NM. A great place to eat, relax and breathe while in transit. The staff are polite and friendly.
