Excellent customer service. We came in and ordered 50 tacos and beans and rice and they had the food ready in record time. The asada and the carnitas tacos were good but I really like the chicken. The salsas have good flavor but don’t expect anything hot. Overall, a positive experience and I’ll definitely come back when I come through Gallup.

A Fiesta in My Mouth! 🌮
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars, because I’d give my left flip-flop for another bite)
Listen up, taco lovers, because Taco Shack is the real deal! I stumbled into this place hungrier than a raccoon at a dumpster buffet, and let me tell you, my taste buds threw a full-on mariachi party. The tacos? So good I almost proposed to the al pastor on the spot. Juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in a tortilla so soft it could lull a baby to sleep.
The vibe is like your cool uncle’s backyard BBQ—chill, colorful, and with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the carnitas taco and the badic, and both were so packed with flavor I’m pretty sure they broke the Geneva Convention for deliciousness. The salsas? They’re like a flavor bomb went off—mild to “call the fire department” hot, and I’m here for it.
The staff? Absolute legends. They’re slinging tacos faster than you can say “extra guac,” and they’re so friendly I’m convinced they’re secretly my new best friends. The price? My wallet didn’t even cry—it was like, “Take my money, you beautiful taco wizards.”
10/10, would stuff my face again. 🌮💃
Pro tip: Bring stretchy pants and a napkin, because you’re gonna make a mess and love every second of it!
I spaced on this place for way too long, the food is awesome, the service is great, and it’s super convenient. Shout out to whoever’s cooking, and to the girls that are always friendly.

Stopped by on a road trip and tried the carne asada tacos — absolutely delicious! Great quick stop with amazing food.
Great Mexican food!
It's just texmex , tacobell without any Bell. You can better frozen Mexican food from Lowes then taco shack.
The carne asada meat was dry and thick layer of tortilla with hardly any meats, pico de gallo and guacamole no cheese for the that price I would never go back
The food is so fresh and delicious! You drive up and are waited on outside. Order taking and receiving is quick. Everyone has always been very friendly!

Great food. Not gonna lie, but tacos are tacos. Nothing really separates these from any of the other taco places. The taquitos are Bomb!!! Service is excellent. Price is a bit high, but you will spend a lot more money going to a fast food chain. Definitely stop by here. I'll have to try more of the menu. Overall a 10/10.

I was little shocked that my breakfast burrito cost $11. But then I got it and it Wait as much as a newborn baby. It could easily be shared with two or three people. It was also tasty as hell. I’ll come back next time. I’m driving through Gallup to taco shack.

Pleeeeeeeease bring back the HOT salsa that you used to serve with your tacos. I literally used to drink it! Now the salsa that comes with the tacos is mild (hence the minus star.)

Talk about laziness, why run a business with a cook that doesn't want to work? I called & asked for a simple 30 tacos. And the cook started cussing and complaining about making the order for my kids and family, then offered me only 10 tacos. Did I miss something?. Like who's paying the bills? Pinche Gente de huevon Le vale madre. In English this means you f..n worthless lazy a.. people not worth the f.. . A food business that can't cook for the customer and be careful about the size in food they claim they make a "medium to a Large" there's no difference. Yet they charge large for the same size . Ask them to make you a large burrito then ask them to make a medium burrito there is no difference. Businesses and business owners like this in Gallup need to leave. They just take advantage of people. There's no real customer service or Care. They only care about their own pockets and now they don't even care who they hire to do the job right. I'm very disappointed in business owners in Gallup they're scandalous well. A lot of them, not all of them. And people see it and don't say nothing and they let themselves get robbed or let themselves get treated like this where it's becoming disrespectful. Whoever you were yesterday, you shouldn't be working at all at that store and I'm putting this review out because of you and you can make your boss look really bad. Yeah you're lazy if you were my employee I'd have fire you. You don't get to cuss at work and keep your job in front of customers. Throw an attitude and act like a little brat especially when I'm making your paycheck. Grow up. Have some balls.
