Been here a few times now. New to the town. Toke my family here for lunch dinner. There service has all ways been top notch. Food is great as well. I'm a fan of there red chili for the flavoring and the green chili nicely cook down with great flavoring of the grilling to the simmering smell n the taste of the authentic new Mexican hatch green chili. Clean test room n the facility. Ill well keep coming here for the great taste n the cleanest of the hospitality. Thank you

Great atmosphere...laid back and comfortable. The food is wonderful! Best tamales I've ever had! My husband loves the beef enchiladas. We ate here 23 years ago on our honeymoon, and we eat here every time we're in Gallup. We've encountered the same waitress for years. And the owner has visited with us multiple times. Great food and great service!

Not on anyone's radar. No online site is going to send you here. When in Rome.... looks rough on the outside but you are on route 66. Fantastic service, great food, an their is a little lady making sure no one bothers you.

We’re from Michigan and stopped off for something to eat. What a gem this place is! Exceptional customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming environment. If I’m ever back in NM, I’ll be stopping again.

We were lucky enough to have our waitress be the fourth generation of the family that works/owns the restaurant. They are currently short staffed so their hours aren't great but worth stopping in

Love the chili combo of red and green I had the chili burger and fries also our waitress Cecelia amazing and sweet .I didn't get the name of the other waitress that filled my ice tea and wasn't even my waitress.love this place.

Super friendly service and great food. The homemade tortillas were amazing, so different than store bought. Lots of locals eating here which is a good sign.

Not the same service and food portion smaller. Still good taste. I'm sure alot to do the inflation and cost of doing business. We'll still turn.

On are home we stopped got some food to good the taco shells were as hard as rock we ate what we could i got food poisoned ! Will be making a call to the health department...

This is a Route 66 classic and a Gallup tradition. The servers are very friendly and work hard to ensure their patrons are well taken care of. I ordered the #13, Three Enchiladas, beans and rice. The meal was served hot and well prepared. I enjoyed the one beef, one chicken and one cheese Enchiladas very much. I requested both red and green sauce, both of which very very flavorful and not too spicy. On the side I ordered the Virgies beef stew. The vegetables and beef were very tender and flavorful resulting in a truly great beef stew.
The restaurant features a comfortable abd casual environment where all will feel welcome, and yes including the children. When I a n in the Gallup area I always stop by Virgies, they never disappoint.
