It's an awesome place! If you enter through the gift shop section, they have some cool souvenirs and stuff for you to check out. Through that entrance, you find the restaurant to your left. It's definitely the best food I've had for the price. If you get the California burrito, it's such a huge burrito, and it's the best I've had!! Definitely would recommend this place. Their tacos are really good, too. So are their tortas.
Excellent
Note - This place no longer has a restaurant but it’s a great fun gift shop. The woman inside was so nice. She directed me to another place where I could have lunch. She directed me to Hatch Corner Ice Cream across from them. This place isn’t even on Google. I had fabulous carne asada street tacos with a very spicy salsa and guacamole and a limeade that rocked.
No longer open even though the signage is still there. Just wanted to warn others. This is now a store! Friendly store lady suggested Valley Cafe across the street.
Sadly, restaurant now closed - entire location is shop of southwestern decor. Spoke with staff, said closes restaurant in November 2020 due to Covid and lack of traffic through town. They had the BEST chile stew of anyone in town. Sad!
Awesome food, staff and atmosphere.
Very delicious food
The people that work there are great very friendly I love all the different types of metal art work I got a big baby chick I love it all kinds of jelly been there several times will go back
Great enchilada’s verde! We ate here back in august and I really don’t understand any of the one and two star reviews. Service was fine, People there were friendly and the food was fantastic.. it’s a 4 hour drive from where I live and I’ve been sitting here actually thinking about driving there just for the enchiladas! Instead I wrote this review and I’m preparing to make some deliveries for my families own restaurant. I will continue to daydream about enchiladas verdes.
More knick knack store than restaurant, food was okay.

The aroma of this place had my mouth watering. So disappointed. After waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged, then seated, had to wait another 12 minutes to have our order taken. I already wanted to leave, but my husband talked me into staying. Ok so our order is taken, we all decided on water because with traveling, we'd had enough soda. Another 18 minutes and we had to ask for our water. I understand, people get overwhelmed, 45 minutes for a glass of water. I was still hopeful, needed my green chile fix. The green chile cheeseburger when it did come out was dry.... And had no green chiles on it. ? the young lady brought out a little cup of chopped chiles which I poured on my burger. The only good thing I have to say is their chips and salsa were awesome. Which we got just after the water. I hope it was just an off day.?
Vacation home in New Mexico, we drive over 50 miles just to eat at this truly New Mexican restaurant, only open for breakfast and lunch (closes at. 3pm). You just can't find this kind of place back east. Family run it's like going to grandma's for lunch. Just off I-25 north of Las Cruces. Reasonable prices too, what you'd expect in the 'chiles capital' of the world.
Delicious spicy pork, green chili stew and sopapillas! I was looking for authentic New Mexico food like I remembered from my childhood and was not disappointed!
The food, service, and gift shop were great. The green enchiladas and shredded beef were delicious!
