Icebox Brewing - Hatch Valley Taproom

The atmosphere is nice. Good music. However, the bartenders are so rude. If you order 4 drinks, 4 people need to be present. Totally understandable. I appreciate that, because who knows if people are underage drinking. But the way we were spoken to was disgusting. You can communicate to costumers in a more friendly way.
The older lady that bartends in the bar, had a rude tone. We come from out of town to spend money and have fun.We ditched this bar after the first drink and took our business elsewhere. Will not come back and would not recommend any of my family nor friends to try this bar. I love small businesses and support them for their efforts for putting their customers first. If you don’t like being a bartender and dealing with customers …then find a different profession. The table near us over heard our experience and they agreed. They said they sat by the bar and were served by the same older lady and they almost felt compelled to ask for someone else to attend to them before they decided to sit outside to find seating away from her. This speaks volumes. The bartenders are pushing customers away. Ice box … you did not give a good first impression. I would highly recommend attitude adjustments.

Awesome place great people and supper friendly

We've been traveling through Hatch for 20+ years, several times a year and had no idea this brewery was here. ( I guess they've been here three yrs) It just happened that the timing was just right this trip for needing a food stop that we like to combine with breweries. VERY pleased to find that the beers are all brewed here, o had the Artic Amber and hubby had the Black Ice Lager. Both are quite good. They have a Key Lime Lager that is VERY limey, in smell and taste. They have a huge pool/ game area. Very nice people.

My kind of place and peeps! Mgr Tim and spouse provided an awesome experience. Beers were spot on and even bought a couple of bottles of their Frost Bite Hatch Vidka and Agave Encanto (can't say Tequila).

We had an absolute blast staying at Ice Box Brewery in Hatch, NM, through Harvest Hosts! This spot is a gem for RVers looking for a unique and welcoming overnight experience. The large, fenced-in parking area was perfect for our rig, offering plenty of space and a secure, level spot to settle in for the night. It gave us peace of mind knowing our RV was in a safe, enclosed area.
The staff and regulars at Ice Box were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was lively and fun, especially since we happened to visit on karaoke night—what a treat! Watching the locals and other guests belt out tunes added a hilarious and entertaining vibe to the evening.
The food was a highlight, with their pizza stealing the show. We opted for one topped with Hatch green chilis, and it was bursting with flavor—fresh, spicy, and perfectly paired with their craft beers. Speaking of beer, Ice Box’s selection was top-notch. Each brew we tried was well-crafted and delicious, showcasing their skill as a local brewery.
Overall, Ice Box Brewery is a fantastic Harvest Hosts location. The combination of great beer, tasty food, a fun karaoke-filled atmosphere, and a spacious, secure parking area made this a memorable stop. We’d highly recommend it to any RVer passing through Hatch, NM, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent beers, we tried almost all of them in a flight and were impressed. My wife loved the honey brown and I went with the hazy and the hatch chili blonde. The fries were tasty and loved the pizza with bacon and avocado drizzle.Very friendly, the owners were so nice and so were the other. We will definitely pass by again when our travels take us through Hatch, we had the best time.

Great Sunday afternoon patio vibe, oldies on the sound machine, fried pickles, and a diet soda. Friendly staff. Wish they had a couple of NA beer options like the other locations, but still a good spot after a nice ride from Las Cruces on the Road King.

Stopped in passing thru to Albuquerque- great beer, food and super friendly- helpful staff. Had a sample of green chili beer- excellent!! Also tried their IPA and pale ale- both also very good. Green chili wings- excellent again. Plump, tender and oh so tasty. Great job guys

Great local brewery great beer. Husband and wife owners were more than hospitable even helped us with local hunting info. Definitely stop in and grab a growler or 2. The only comment would be add your location to the growler bottles 4 those of us that collect them. Wished ours said Hatch New Mexico on it. Thanks again for the hospitality and green chili beer.
