Some of the best new Mexican food I've had both living in and visiting New Mexico. However, when they say it's going to be hot they mean it. I had a chicharone burrito which I love and they told me it's going to be a little hot. It's all right. Probably should have listened to them cuz after two bites blood was dripping out of my eyes and sweat was running out of my ears.

This was a small family restraunt. Food was ok. BUT the red sauce was superb and green Chile salsa was by far the best I ever had!!!!

My order was very unacceptable first of all my order was wrong. Second the green chile was so hot I could not eat the burrito. I asked for smothered green chili fries for my 9 year old and they just sprinkled chopped green chili on top she literally threw up after the first bite couldn’t eat that either. My sisters carne asada burrito was dry as cardboard had no avacado as advertised. The food also had no flavor. Very disappointing and waste of money.

We got the molajete with the chicken, shrimp, and beef, and the sauce it was in was so amazing! The sauce was quite spicy, but we couldn't stop eating it was so good! We haven't had food from restaurant with that much flavor in a long time!

Chile very hot for us, even the 2 salsas. Sodas and water only available from the cooler which had few choices and no water. Restroom barely adequate, broken soap dispenser laying on vanity, basket of crumpled TP next to the toilet. Would not visit again; try somewhere else.

Wish we had tried them sooner, since we travel thru Hatch frequently. The food is homemade. Try a refreshing cucumber lemonade for a treat. Great find. So glad I listened to the other reviews to try.

Tremendous NM flavor at a very reasonable price. Had chicken fajitas and green chili rellenos; both absolutely surpassed expectations. Enthusiastic 5 stars!
Update: We came back through a few days ago (July 2024) and the place was jam packed, causing the wait times to soar. Still worth the wait, but be warned of possible long wait times.

Delicious food and a nice calm atmosphere. I really loved the quesa birrira tacos. The meat was tender and well seasoned, the sauce was really rich and full of depth! Their salsa tasted fresh and bright! Great price for what we enjoyed!

Delicious tacos birria! A smokiness to the sauce, and they look small but they're STUFFED with meat and cheese. BFF had the chicken flautas which were a teeny bit dry and bland, but all his sides were excellent. The only drawback was the music was so loud it was hard to hear the gal we ordered from. Definitely would come back for the food, though. Only about 4 tables, the rest were booths.
