Food was fantastic. Person taking order wasn't friendly and I requested torta to be sliced in half but it wasn't. We were able to sit in their porch with our small dogs but there were ants everywhere. Otherwise, it was pleasant and is worth return trip because food was so good!

It's a rustic place with EXCELLENT food... I ? chile relleno and beans burrito smother in green and red chili (New Mexicans call it christmas). My husband had the green chili cheeseburger, and it was DELICIOUS too.... I forgot to mention the chips and salsa

I had the Huevos Ranchero breakfast, it was incredible, beans were soooooo good. Coffee had a great taste! Service was great!! We bought a jar of their Salsa it is so good, hss a kick then mellows out, fantastic! Highly recommend!

Valley Cafe could hold their own against the best chile in Santa Fe, Albuquerque or El Paso. It was great.
I had the green chile pork burrito and split chile cheese fries with my wife. It’s simple food done perfectly.
Everything was great. Green chile cheese burgers are bomb! Good ladies serving. Bathrooms were clean. Happy customers. We even took one back to Burque with us.

When I drove through Hatch I needed to stop to get a chili relleno. When you do drive through Hatch there are so many choices. Lot's of burger places but that is not what I was looking for. I stopped into Valley Cafe and straight away the people were welcoming and ready to take my order. My food was brought to me right away with chips and salsa. The salsa was excellent and I highly recommend buying a jar. The chili relleno was very hot (temp). While I waited I ate all the salsa and chips. I can't stress enough for anyone reading this to choose this spot for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.
