So we walked in, three people behind the sandwich area, one, shift manager Joy, counting money at the register.
Most times you at least get a half-hearted, “welcome to Firehouse,” but today, nothing.
Wig tells me what she wants, I stand at the register. Joy continues to count, and not look up.
No one else is in the restaurant.
