Main issue is on site management. A waitress tripped & dumped 12 oz of a hot coffee drink on my back. That happens, not an issue. The fact that the manager never talked to me is a huge issue. To make things worse they gave a $2 (TWO) discount on my $120 bill. Food is fine

This is a long overdue review of my experience from last year. I came here at the suggestion of a coworker when I came for a two week business trip. I waited to come here until the second week and I really wish I didn't! I’ll summarize my review in one sentence. After my first visit, I returned for every breakfast and dinner for the last 4 days of my trip! The food was that good. The service was mostly great, but had a coupe of issues that were resolved. I tried the waffles, crepes, French Toast, a couple of seafood meals (Shrimp and grits were excellent!) and a chicken dish that was both new to me and outstanding! I wish I wasn’t retired so I would have an excuse to return to Los Cruces for another plate of Bananas Foster French Toast!

We had never been for dinner and were surprisingly impressed. We were the only people there and were worried what that meant, but everything was great, from food to service! We even got a coupon through text after calling to check to see how busy they were.

We had the breakfast special. It comes with two eggs, choice of meat, and a “sweet”. I had the liege waffles and partner had the crepe with blackberry cream. Portion wise, you don’t get a good bang for your buck. The food is good enough so no complaints there, but the breakfast special in particular isn’t worth the $13.25. We also got Colombian coffee which was the best part. Overall, I wouldn’t comeback, I’m just glad to have gone.

My potatoes arrived cold and mushy. My wife’s food arrived cold and the tampequena stake was tasteless, dry and very tough.

My recent dining experience at A Bite of Belgium was truly exceptional and deserves a more detailed account. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the thoughtfully curated decor, which fostered an atmosphere of genuine comfort and relaxation. Soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements created an inviting ambiance that made me feel instantly at ease. The attentiveness and personable nature of my waitress further enhanced the welcoming environment. She was prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered helpful suggestions, making the entire service feel both efficient and friendly.
For my main course, I selected the sirloin tip sandwich, a decision I did not regret for a moment. The quality of the ingredients was immediately apparent. The sirloin tips were cooked to perfection, boasting a rich and savory flavor that was incredibly satisfying. What truly elevated this sandwich was the homemade rye bread. Its freshness and slightly tangy flavor provided the ideal complement to the tender sirloin, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.
To accompany my sandwich, I opted for the goat cheese pasta salad. This side dish proved to be a delightful surprise. The creamy goat cheese was expertly balanced with the perfectly cooked pasta and a medley of fresh, vibrant vegetables. The dressing was light and flavorful, tying all the elements together beautifully. It was a refreshing and well-composed salad that showcased a thoughtful approach to flavor combinations.
Finally, I also sampled the French-style green salad with oil and garlic dressing. While seemingly simple, this salad was a testament to the fact that high-quality ingredients and a well-executed dressing can be truly outstanding. The greens were crisp and fresh, and the oil and garlic dressing was light yet incredibly flavorful, providing a refreshing counterpoint to the richer elements of my meal.
In conclusion, my visit to A Bite of Belgium was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. The restaurant excelled in every aspect, from the comfortable and inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service provided by my waitress. Most importantly, the food was outstanding, characterized by the freshness and high quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation of each dish. The sirloin tip sandwich on homemade rye bread, the flavorful goat cheese pasta salad, and the refreshing French-style green salad all contributed to an excellent meal that I would highly recommend. A Bite of Belgium has clearly prioritized creating a welcoming space where guests can enjoy delicious, well-crafted food, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.
