We're loyal to both restaurants during our twice yearly stays, but the dinner menu needs to change regularly. Especially since it's limited.

We arrived at 6:30... food didn't come till 7:45. One entree was wrong...sent it back... the correct entree came, risotto wasn't cooked . I changed my order, the filet was very tender, sauce to salty. The onions were not tender. I can't recommend the restaurant especially since there weren't many people eating dinner there.

No one greeted us when we arrived even though we had reservations. The dining room was empty so we asked the bartender for help and was told to sit where we wanted. Our server showed up a few minutes later. She was very polite but appeared not to be knowledgeable about the cocktails or the menu. Every question we had she would have to run and ask someone. We felt like the normal staff didn't come to work so she was filling in. We ordered cocktails but they were missing 3 out of five ingredients for my cocktail so I just settled for a glass of Prosecco. We ordered a wedge salad, rack of lamb medium done and cake for dessert. The salad was tiny compared to what we usually get. The rack of lamb only had 4 pieces and was served with spinach. Later our server gave us our grilled carrots apologized she served our plate before it was ready which probably explains why the lamb was rare/raw. We never had a rack of lamb with only four usually a rack is 8 pieces/ lollipops. Our server had no explanation but smiled and said we split the plates for you. I can't remember what the cake was but it was so hard and dry. Our server said that was the way it was supposed to taste or something like that is the usual texture. My husband and I were shocked. The bill came to $97 even though we shared all the plates. This was the worst experience we've ever had but the food was tasty except for the cake. I think the portions could have been more.

The restaurant is located in a very nice hotel called the Encanto with spectacular views from the upper floors in all directions. In the restaurant there is both an inside and an outside area with the outside area covered and partially enclosed. The inside a spacious and the tables are well separated. It has a very nice bar that you can sit at. The service was outstanding and the food was just as good. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals very much. We will go back. I encourage you to consider this Restaurant the next time you are in Las Cruces or looking for a restaurant in town.

Shannon, Desi, the male bartender and Skye were fantastic and so attentive. Food was great, especially the burrata salad and filet. Awesome spring drink menu. We live in Cruces, so we'll definitely be back.

Exceptional service and great drinks and food. Loved the house developed cocktails, specifically the blue margarita.

Service was slow, the kitchen was "slammed" we were told. The weren't prepared for NYE!? It's not that big of a place. Seating by the windows most uncomfortable we've had, Couch seating was awful. Won't be returning here.

We stopped in for dinner after seeing a show at NMSU. We were skeptical due to the mixed reviews. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, Desiree, went above and beyond to provide the best service. We felt so comfortable we ended up sitting and chatting long after we finished our meals. Our meals were prepared quickly and exactly to our specifications. Everything was very flavorful. We will definitely return!

The food has the potential to be excellent, but many dishes we have ordered arrive at the table with the meat or fish raw and have to be sent back for more cooking.

The ingredients seem to be high quality, the chef just needs to take his/her time and get it right.

The servers are mostly well trained and professional.

The atmosphere could be nice, but typically it is too cold to enjoy a meal; it is like being seated in a walk in fridge.

I recently had a rather disappointing dining experience that I’d like to share. I ordered a salad called the Chicharón, expecting something decent. However, when the waitress took my order, I couldn't help but notice her sarcastic tone throughout our conversation. When I asked her how long she had been working there, she replied, "Three years," with a hint of sarcasm that made me raise an eyebrow.

Curious about the dressings available beyond the blue cheese, I inquired about my options, only to have her pointedly suggest ranch. After a lengthy wait, I finally received my salad and was shocked by what had been delivered. I paid $13 for a dish that looked like an afterthought—essentially a chopped cabbage cut into quarters, accompanied by a lonely cherry there's a lot.tomato and just two tablespoons of ranch dressing on the side. To top it off, they had added a handful of pork rinds that looked like they came straight from a bag, rather than being a notable component of the dish.

On my receipt, they referred to this creation as a wedge salad, which I found amusing, considering it certainly didn’t meet my expectations for a salad. The menu described it as a Chicharón salad in beautiful cursive, which initially made me think, "Okay, this sounds decent." When I asked the waitress if the pork was fried, she confirmed with a half-hearted "Yes, it definitely is."

Honestly, I wouldn’t even categorize this as a salad; it felt more like a makeshift dish in a wannabe culinary setting. I couldn’t help but wonder, “What is this?” The overall experience left much to be desired, and I walked away questioning my life choices. To be frank, the front desk did mention they were going to refund me, so I suppose that’s a small silver lining in an otherwise frustrating experience.t.
