Food was great, not to blan or to spicy
Not small portions
I would call it good home cooking
Would recommend not a chain restaurant

The ambiance is relaxing and colorful. Their food is full of flavor. It was delightful to receive a bowl of soup prior to the meal arriving. I am still thinking about their green enchilada sauce and how it’s made…. Yum!

I used to really like this place but we just paid $30 for one posole and one caldo. It’s not worth it

The food falls flat, but the service is good, Good if you're in a hurry and dont mind bland Carne Asada.

Not really sure how this place stays in business. Most expensive Mexican food we have ever had in Cruces. At least $4-5 more per plate than most. But the most disappointing thing was food was barely warm. Rice was actually cold. The rest (Barbacoa) was about room temperature. It was the first Mexican food in this town that I can truly say was disappointing. The only thing good was the soup. Definitely won’t be back.

This place is legit! From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. I started with the pozole, and with the first spoonful, I was instantly transported back to my childhood. It was so incredibly good, it genuinely reminded me of my abuela's cooking – a true taste of authentic tradition.
Next up was the menudo, and I can confidently say it's the best I've ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were perfectly cooked. But then came the main event: the barbacoa. Oh, the barbacoa! It was absolutely amazing. The meat was tender, succulent, and bursting with authentic flavor. It was so delicious, I seriously considered asking the chef for their number just to get the recipe or perhaps a private catering session! Seriously, five stars isn't enough to capture the culinary excellence experienced here. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving truly authentic Mexican cuisine.

This is THE best food! The soap de rez is the best I've ever ever had. Love the flavors here. Never disappointed.
Service is slow but accurate.

Went for breakfast after the lunch rush. Everything great. the food, our server, (very attentive) and atmosphere wonderful. The only downside was that the portions were very small. I remember there was a time where they would load you up with beans and hash browns plus rice. Oh well I guess nothing last for ever.
