I tried two burritos—the chicharrón and the brisket. The chicharrón tasted like it came straight out of a plastic bag, which was disappointing since authentic Mexican burritos usually come with salsa to add flavor. The brisket burrito had lettuce and tomato, which isn’t typical for Mexican cuisine. While the flavors were okay, this is not genuine Mexican food.

One of my favorite places for real, genuinely tasty Mexican food. Excellent prices and ingredients. I don't know anyone else in town that makes breakfast burritos that size for that price. The ladies are friendly and fun. They also sell made-in-house tortilla chips, bischochos, tortillas and I believe salsa.

Best Tortilla Chops I have ever eaten. I grew up in Las Cruces, moved away for career. We visit when we can. We REALLY miss the food. We bought a bag of these chips the last time we were in Las Cruces, they're so good we bought 10 more large bags to bring back to Oklahoma with us. I wish they could ship them to us. We hope to be in Las Cruces this Spring , we will stock up then.

Food is good but the drive thru is horrible. They need to put something that rings inside building so they know someone is at the drive thru (I mentioned to the lady owner & she just rolled her eyes meanwhile a car behind vehicle behind me is leaving from the long drive thru wait). I've waited so long even had to honk my horn to get someone's attention. They also take so long to get orders out. I've waited about 15 to 20 mins for just a brisket burrito. Happy Customers Happy Life!

I have been a loyal chef of las cruces and surrounding area's el paso ,Memphis ,long beach, Manhattan,Dallas, 38 years kitchen knowledge the best tortillas and Mexican food is at this location the best I've ever tasted my hat is off to all the ladies and hard workers at this place God will certainly bless you because you make the best Mexican food in las cruces it is a compliment to our Raza muncho amor Para ustedes ??????????no one in las cruces can compete with you your quality surpasses many food establishments very nice ladies open kitchen very clean the best food I've tasted in many decades you should expand the building it would be full every day with patrons that will give you the same review because of my culinary back round people know I'm serious so please support small buisness go visit el Indio tortilla shop you will have a surprise of a life time and leave with a smile??????????????????
