Always amazing food and amazing people, ive been eating here for 10 years! Google time said they were open till 7, but when I got there, they were closed. The man inside still unlocked the door for me and got me some salsa, as thats all I wanted. Its the little things and familia run restaurants that really matter 🙏 grateful for wondeful people and restaurant 😎💯

We are visiting from Kansas City and poured over trip Advisor and Yelp and settled on El Jacalito. We were not disappointed. First off, it’s small, but it’s clean, the food is excellent and the staff is friendly. \n\nAI told me I must have a green chile cheeseburger while in Las Cruces, and while I scold my grandkids for wanting burgers and grilled cheese at our favorite KC Mexican restaurant, I figured this was an exception. It was delicious! The burger was beefy and delicious....
