The three of us truly enjoyed our lunch not necessarily because of the food but because the atmosphere along with the service staff was comforting and warm.
Now the food: I had caldo de Rez, my wife had flautas, and my nephew had a #15 with a side taco. The presentations were as they should be on a homey restaurant like if we were lunching at our respective homes. However, all three dishes lacked flavor. The salsa was, both the so called hot salsa and the regular salsa needed spices and salt that would add flavor. All dishes lacked flavor. The dishes were bland and lacked character. Even though the atmosphere and the folk who were lunching gave much to the atmosphere the food itself needed flavor. The flavor notes were flat and, I hate to say, tasteless. Obviously , we were probably outliers since the restaurant was full with many regulars, which we were not.
Sadly, we will not partake at Enrique’s Restaurant again even though the service and the atmosphere were exceptional.
Best authentic Mexican food in Las Cruces and that is truly saying something.
Cash only, but the food is delicious! Friendly service.
This place will over charge you if you are white.
Service was friendly and quick. Because ai was eating there I got complimentary chip and salsa, and it was one of the best salsas I've had anywhere. I had the taco plate. They were very good and very reasonably priced. I will return.
If only I carried cash I'd eat more often here. My coworker always brings me here and it's always packed to the brim. Everything I have tasted is an amazing home cooked meal. Just like my mom makes.
So cozy it's small but perfect! Clean friendly. Smiles. Really great Decor.

Good flavor but they take a lot of time to serve, they don't accept suggestions and if they had more staff it would be better service
Absolute worst experience ever!!!! My husband I took grandson to eat. After sitting there for 20 minutes, not one single server acknowledged us. Two other groups of people came in after us and were immediately taken care of. We decided to just walk out. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
Only accepts cash

This is a hidden gem!. Fresh delicious food, short wait times, great customer service. A lot of restaurants(not all) in Las Cruces have obviously lowered their standards in customer service & food quality unlike Enriques Mexican Food! They're prices are cheap compared to other places. Pay em a visit folks you won't regret it or feel ripped of like a lot places around here. I recommend their burritos! They're hearty as heck and you can get 2 for only $10.40!! That can feed most people for the day.
