Horrible. nun of it was enjoyable I’m sure all of it was sitting there for hours before being served. Dinner rolls were hard, county fried steak was hard and old , fries were cold and old same for Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes were the only thing decent 30$ wasted for 2 plates that were garbage (usually taste good when fresh but was absolutely not fresh)

It has been a long. ............time since I visited this place. Bread so soft, chicken so moist and tender. Not greasy. Jalapeño poppers were 🤤 crunchy. The nuggets for my little ones were also very tender. I didnt like the fries they were soft I like them crispy, but my kids liked them. Cinnamon rolls soft and delicious too! I didnt like the green beans or corn. Pot roast for me tasted like brisket which I loved! Yum 😋
I was surprised there was no people inside the restaurant . We stopped going because we moved. Going back next time for sure.

I ordered online and didn’t realize if you don’t mark a gravy then you get the white gravy that I wanted with our chicken fried steaks. Then I tried cutting into it and had to use a steak knife. I think it was made this morning. Absolutely awful and so disappointing

I haven't been to a Grandys for 30 years. This is not as it used to be. Grandys closed down near me. Driving through I found this and was hoping to get one of their cinnamon roll. We were there around 3p.m. The cinnamon roll tasted day-old. The chicken was very dry, so that the edges were dried and stringy. I don't know they stay in business serving such subpar food.

I loved Grandy’s back in the day. I was sad when they got rid of the chicken livers. But I decided to go today for a late lunch and was very disappointed. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, okra. I was the only person in the restaurant my mashed potatoes and okra were almost cold and my chicken fried steak was dry, even with all the gravy all over it. Also for what it’s worth it was too expensive so I won’t be going back anytime soon. I can see why the meals are half-price on Tuesdays and Fridays. I wish I had gone then and it just paid half price.

Tried ordering the 5.99 meal today at 1:15 pm and the girl taking drive through orders was the rudest person in the whole world. She cut me off in the middle of ordering with the rudest tone ever! I felt so belittled and disrespected please fire this person!!

We felt like we had entered a time warp! So lucky to have had this experience. Memories from when our kids were young visiting GRANDY’S in Sherman Texas in the late 80’s. Looks the same inside as ours and the food was still delicious 😋 Thanks for the beautiful memories, great service and food!
