I didn’t get the name of the lady working yesterday morning but she was super sweet. We came for bagels but to no avail they were out. That’s okay must mean they’re exceptionally good. Ordered a beer and a slice. Even received a cute little Mother’s Day card. Definitely will be back.
Idk why people are being so mean, I LOVE the green chilie and everything bagel. They sell out of the green Chile because they are in high demand. Sometimes I'm lucky if I even get there in time for one. Their everything bagel and toasted sesame seed..so good.
I have NEVER had any problems with the server who is there on the weekends. She's very empathetic when she tells you they are out of something. You cry babies just say that crap because you can't get whats not available. Also, damn good pizza and salads js.
Our first time coming in to try bagels and the lady at the front was nothing but rude and bothered by us walking in. Gave a smart ass response to a question and we left as quickly as we came. Never going back
As the other reviews note, super rude employees and subpar food. The woman at the front seemed offended that someone was ordering food. We waited almost 20 minutes for three doughy bagels that were barely warm! Won’t make that mistake again.
2/22/25 First time visiting Green Chile Bagel Co and it will be our last. We were greeted with an unpleasant staff member. Being our first time customers we asked what types of bagels they offered. She rudely pushed the menu towards us on the counter and pointed to where the choices were listed. She obviously could care less that we were there. We ordered plain bagels without cream cheese. We unwrapped them when we got home and found them to be flat and undercooked. Looked as though they did not let the dough rise properly. Way over priced for the bagels!
Take forever and will give you the wrong order
Avoid this place unless you’re looking to be disappointed. At 9:30 on a Saturday morning, they were out of green chili and plain bagels. Ended up ordering an everything avocado and egg and a poppyseed with Nutella. The place was completely empty except for a small table that had already been served. After a 35 plus minute wait, our bagels arrived luke warm. They were over toasted to the point that you could barely bite through them and everything was squishing out. The egg was cold likely due to the excessive amount of cream cheese. We’re talking about probably an inch of cream cheese that overpowered the whole sandwich. The everything bagel was over seasoned and the seasoning was burnt. The poppy seed bagel was so thick with seeds that it looked solid black and the seeds had also burnt during the excessive toasting. The waitress never touched base with us during the 35 minute wait. Food showed up just as we were ready to walk out. The bill was $32 for two bagels and two coffees. Overpriced disappointment.
2nd attempt to try bagels here to no avail. Would love to tell you an honest review if they actually would have bagels for sale!!
I think the bagels are made out of pizza dough!
The bagels from here are great and I enjoyed them each time we came. But my only complaint is the service, one of the waitresses was rude to us as soon as we entered the door. Giving us a dirty look before we even ordered. When I made a mistake while ordering she seemed to snap back at me. She was just very rude and not very welcoming at all. Other than that I enjoyed the bagels from here but I did not appreciate the dirty looks or attitude we received when ordering.

On multiple occasions my family and I have tried to order pizza or bagels from this place. The New York pizza slice and green chili bagel company are the same place, and they are always either out of pizzas or bagels. But yet they still leave up their advertisements of selling both to lure people inside, only to be told that they’re out. I wish this was a post to critique their food, but there’s never any food to review.

What an exquisite idea! The bagel was so delicious and not as messy as expected. I enjoyed the crunch from the toasted bagel. I thought the guava and cheese was tasty and a nice sweet/tang mixture. I will say the staff left something to desire. We were there August 31 for the holiday and was greeted with an unfriendly staffer. Quite surprised my morning. My niece also wanted a sweet cream cheese, which would have been perfect but the place only offered regular.
