Traveling back to Houston from San Diego, we stopped in Las Cruces for the night and decided to give this spot a try—and we’re so glad we did!

The entire staff was incredibly friendly, walking us through the menu and explaining the different combo options. We even met the owner, who was genuinely grateful for our visit and shared that their business thrives on word of mouth. It was clear they take pride in what they do.

The hot dogs were absolutely fantastic, and the fries were cooked to perfection. As a delightful bonus, we were served complimentary buñuelos with our meal—it was the cherry on top!

This is a family-operated food truck that makes everyone feel welcome. If you’re ever in Las Cruces, do yourself a favor and stop by to support them. Highly recommended!

This is not your average hotdog food truck. Luis and his staff turn out some award-winning food here at this location. And you don’t have to sit in your car and eat. You can sit at one of their outside tables where you can spread out. What also makes Lalo’s Sonora Dogs stand out, is everything they do for their community. This need to be your go to.

Absolutely adore this hidden gem! The owner is incredibly welcoming and consistently provides spectacular service, often making great recommendations and introducing us to tasty new products. We were thrilled to receive their 'Vaquero Dog' free of charge to try—such a nice touch!

Their hot dogs are simply amazing. If you’ve ever enjoyed a truly authentic Sonoran hot dog, you know exactly what to expect here. This spot is one of the best, if not the best, places for Sonoran-style hot dogs in town.
