I have been going here for years and was shocked at the price now that they are charging. I ordered a cheese enchilada plate to go and was shocked to be charged $17 for a plate with just lettuce and tomato. WOW!! for that price shouldn't I get rice and beans? OMG! that is ridiculous. I got a side cup of albondigas which was nothing but soup some veggies and NO ALBONDIGAS! This place is good granted but this is ridiculous being charged that much for a plate that probably costs about $3 to make! time to move on from here. What a shame. I can go to Andales in Mesilla and for this price I can get a plate of enchiladas with rice and beans AND sopapillas for dessert. OH,,, and and egg on top as well. See yall.

We ordered to go and they sent my son with the wrong meal. He got all the way home and it was wrong. We called, they said to come back. I called back just to make sure my food would be fresh because it had now been an hour. The manager not only laughed, he told me to text him a picture to make sure I wasn’t lying. I texted that number! He hung up on me 3 times! He continued to laugh at me. Needless to say, I never got my food and he laughed when I asked for a refund. I have never experienced anything like this, ever!

Rice and beans were good. Chila-quilas was very very soggy, no flavor, menudo had a funky smell too it... Instead of onions they gave us a little baggie of cabbage which was weird .. i thought it came with onions, oregano, maybe some lime, and then too top it off they gave two smashed pieces of bread like if someone stomped on them.. all this for 58 dollars.. and then we asked them for some chips and salsa but they charge for that too.... WHAT??? Las Trancas has changed... I remember it being excellent.... Seems as though they have gotten lazy... So sad..

Hey kiddies, dont forget to bring an extra $5.50 for chips and salsa that they charge you for, even though you are dining in and spending money!! Oh, and they WONT tell you they charge EXTRA for it beforehand, so you get the surprise add on at the register. SURPRISE!!

Our server waited on us within 10 minutes but once our food was served she never returned. We needed more coffee, tea, and tortillas for the soup. Other restaurants don’t charge for the 3 tortillas for the soup de albondiga. Other restaurants don’t charge for tostadas/salsa either. When the cashier manager was questioned all she said was we’re busy and no thank you. Very rude and curt. We are not going back.
