Awesome cafe fancy coffee, great lunches, breakfast items, and delicious pastries.
Today was our 1st time there. Food was fantastic. Plus good size portions. Service was wonderful. Very friendly atmosphere. Of course we bought some pastries. So wish there was a restaurant like this on the Eastside of town. There are nothing but fast food places. This restaurant would be a welcome addition.
We love this place! The wide variety of bakery items are SO delicious and fresh, the menu offers a great variety of freshly prepared food from the kitchen, and the service is always friendly and efficient!
Thank you so much the food was amazing!
My husband and I are breakfast people and love to eat out. We've been to just about every breakfast place in town, and Le Rendez-Vous Café is by far our favorite. I'm shocked I haven't left a review yet! I remember the first time we walked in years ago and saw the most gorgeous assortment of pastries; my jaw dropped and my mouth watered. We were hooked. We have since become regulars, enjoying our little French hidden gem at least once a week.
Truly, nowhere else in town can compare to the well-roundedness that this restaurant offers. Their quiche never fails to impress, the daily specials are always delicious, the soups are mouthwatering (the French onion puts all other restaurants to shame), the breakfasts are remarkable (whether you are craving savory or sweet), you can't go wrong with any of the lunch dishes (chicken caprese or salmon sandwich are my favorite lunches), the espressos and mimosas are perfect, and the pastries are simply to die for. I dug in before I remembered to take a picture! The pastry chef is from France, so you can get the authenticity of French delicacies without the plane ticket.
We have had the pleasure of getting to know the owners over the last few years, and they are the kindest, most hardworking people you'll ever meet. They have perfected the marriage between French roots with Louisiana flare, and brought it right to our backyard in Southern New Mexico. If you haven't eaten here yet, you are depriving yourself! It can get pretty packed, but that is just representative of how incredible this little hole in the wall restaurant is.
This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s probably one of my favorite places that has affordable food to taste and amazing pasteries to try. I really don’t know why but I always keep coming back here. Maybe it’s the people, maybe the food, or maybe the amazing owners who are so kind. Honestly their fruit tarts are to die for. I’ve one spoken to the man who creates the desserts in the back and he’s honestly a super cool guy. The owner is an absolute sweet heart and makes you feel so welcomed. Also, TRY THISE DANG FRUIT TARTS AND THE CHOCOLATE CAKES!!
I have always had great service and amazing food anytime I have eaten at Le Rendezvous. I have eaten many dishes and have loved them all. My personal favorites are the salmon and the mussels (moules-frites) The pastries, cakes and tarts are all delicious and we have tried them all!
If you Google best breakfasts in Cruces, Les Rendezvous doesn't even show up. Ridiculous! Definitely the best breakfast in town, superb coffee, and pastries to die for. Going elsewhere is just plain silly.
Delicious meals and pastry Laid back atmosphere Friendly service Chicken Marsala special was divine
If you want a pastry or several to go, this is the place. If you want to dine in, be prepared for bad service. Our waiter had a good personality but was incredibly disorganized, leading to long waits to order and to get the check. The food is pretty good.

Excellent service and the place was packed. Rafael was an excellent waiter.
Caprese chicken sandwich and French charcuterie assortment dazzled us. And definitely try the key lime cheesecake!
We did not feel like we were in New Mexico for the time. This was basically a busy French diner. I would definitely return here!

A wonderful lunch/breakfast place with incredible pastries! We enjoyed a veggie platter and Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. The coffee was also quite good and the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The interior decor is pseudo Parisian but it overly tacky. Don't be fooled by the partly empty strip mall as you first arrive, this place is real and unique in Las Cruces.

We were in Las Cruces for the weekend from Albuquerque and we found this place for breakfast on a Sunday and decided to try it. It was such a cute, little cozy place. The food was delicious! We had a Croque Madame and the Crossoint sausage sandwhich with fries and hashbrowns. The sandwiches were so good and the fries were cooked to perfection. The desserts they have all look so good and we had trouble picking just a few. We got macaroons, this chocolate ball with honey, brown sugar and nuts inside it which was AMAZING, and a slice of lemon tart cake which was to die for as well as a bread pudding that was very good. It is a very European cake which is great if you don't like super sweet treats. The service was wonderful as well and the staff were so friendly. If I ever go to Las Cruces again or pass through, I am going to eat here. It is very reasonably priced as well for as much food as we got, it was under $50. Please open one in Albuquerque!
