JeongsukahThe 7th International Film Festival will be held in Las Cruces from April 3rd to 7th. Sponsored by NMSU for large-scale events. Participants: It looks like acquaintances from the film industry from other cities are coming again this week. Prepare a plentiful meal as you may be crowded at the rendezvous. Amazing! Great food with really fantastic service. Three cappuccino was one of the best I've had. The classics like scrambled eggs and home fries are done just right. The baked goods are insanely good and tasted super fresh. All the staff was eager to help and did their best to provide us with the best experience possible. Oh and the prices are really good too. We are only in town for a few days but we already plan on coming back here.

A table was immediately available for us when we arrived at ~11:30 on a Sunday, but everyone who arrived after us had to wait a little while at least to be seated. Popular place! Food was good, and prices were not too high. Waitress was attentive and efficient.

The pasties were delicious and so were the eggs Benedict. I like how they played French music all the time.

Is this really in Las Cruces? The pastries were absolutely wonderful! The place was buzzing, the staff were fantastic. The location is completely off the wall, can't imagine a French patisserie being here. But here it is. We'll go back any time we're in Las Cruces.

In an old strip mall. Tiny. Packed and some of the most delectable pastries I've had in a while. The wait was a bit long, but it was busy-very popular with a lot of regulars coming in for their favorites. Reviewing the menu was a nice surprise. My waitress was very attentive and pleasant. I ordered the classic eggs benedict with hash browns. My order arrived very quickly. I was a little taken back by the lack of garnishment on the plate. But it tasted delicious. The hollandaise was perfect, not too thick or lemony. The only thing that interrupted the savoriness of the meal were the black olive slices on top of the bendict halves. They tasted like preservatives and took away from the creamy goodness of the perfectly poached eggs, canadian bacon, toasted muffins and hollandaise. After my meal I grabbed two amazing pastries for later. Very surprised.

Today at Le Rendezvous Cafe it was busy, crowded with elderly people as usual. The ambiance was ok. Pleasant. The service was good. The fresh bread that came with the meal was quite good, but the main dish, the beef stroganoff, was "bland." Not to be ordered again. Rate it a "C." The side salad was crisp and fresh and the lemon vinaigrette dressing was quite good. The pecan tort was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The filled heart shaped cookies were mediocre...a disappointment. The overall meal was underwhelming. Today's dining experience was somewhat less than satisfactory. Rate the dining experience this day at Le Rendez-vous Cafe about Three Stars....meaning for a full serve restaurant....no better than the middle of the pack. Despite what its fans might think, I rank this restaurant 35th in town for the non-Mexican restaurants.
