the cutest little diner here on valley. all the staff is friendly and just sweethearts. a very homey vibe and amazing food! we got to meet Lucy at the end and her smile lit up the room. if you have a chance or are craving some delicious homemade food and a smile , this is your place!

0 I ordered the ham and eggs with hash browns the hash browns were harder than a rock I asked to taste a little bit of the red chili just to taste it they charged me $1.25 they also charged me $250 for sourdough bread which I thought was included in the breakfast go somewhere else terrible food

Really nice looking place, it smelt good walking in. service is weird. sit yourself down anywhere and hope a waitress notices and gives you the menus. waited 30 minutes for a 1/2 order not even a full order of the chicken fried steak. the saddest & smallest scoop of mashed potatoes, and the piece of chicken i got was plain/bland and thinner than my own phone. mashed potatoes tastes like it was the pre made powder from the box. and a scoop of canned vegetables as the other side. Such a let down considering it has that old diner layout and vibe but the food, nope. gravy was decent but covered my whole plate. and the bread roll i could pinch together with 2 fingers and eat it thats how small it was. if you are an older person who likes little to no sound and bland food this is the spot to go.

Maybe hit or miss because I see the great reviews took over an hour for our food and it was cold and not great! The place was so hot inside I don’t know if their AC was broken or it just can’t keep up! It wasn’t even busy when we went so I’m not sure what took so long for a salad, bean and cheese burrito and a combo plate?!

The food here is just fine, but getting to it is a bother. They are extremely slow here and, while our waitress was very nice, she forgot to bring the things we asked for (hot sauce, take out box). They ran out of hash browns during Sunday breakfast (inexcusable), and brought French fries instead. I was rather disappointed considering all of the great reviews. No more... I'll go over to Village Inn instead.
The Spanish omelet is amazing, great service, atmosphere slightly lower rank bc AC was kept on the line of uncomfortable and too hot.

Sadly very lacking from the kitchen and high prices. $2.75 for a tea (highest I've seen anywhere) $2.00 for a tiny saucer of red chile. Love the front of the house, bunch of grandma's taking care of you, but food was terribly slow and not worth the wait. Annoying waiting for your food as you watch the younger, male, cook eating out of a bowl through the window.
