Today was the first time my husband and I tried it!!!! We got served by Lucy’s daughter and she was the sweetest!!!! One thing my husband I look at is how we are treated! We were treated like we’re regulars!!!! My husband had the all you can eat menudo and the bowls they serve it in is HUGE! It’s delicious and very flavorful!!!! I had the combination plate loved the sauce over the chile rellenos its was delicious everything all the way around was very good!!!!!!! Thumbs up to our server she’s the greatest!!!!!!

Let me start with our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Not familiar with the town, and traveling with our young family for a wedding, we decided to eat here. We sat and my wife was going to wash my son’s bottle. She offered to wash his bottle. <3

Now the weird part…

There were 11 of us in our party. Instead of seating 6 ft apart we combined our 2 tables together. Only to be told moments later that the owner requested we move our tables back to their original position. I asked why and the waitress could not answer my question.

Thought the covid19’ mandate was lifted years ago?? I wanted to leave and give my money to another establishment that is FAMILY friendly. But it wasn’t her fault, chose to stay and will tip her well.

Anyways, note to owner… have the cajones to come explain to your customers why you have this bogus rule. And also put a note on your entrance that reads the following;

“We at Lucy’s follow expired COVID-19 mandates.”

We stopped in after church on Sunday. Several of the waitresses were very friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. That said, the overall atmosphere could use some attention—it felt a bit run-down and not as clean as we’d hoped. Our server seemed a little unkempt and wasn’t very welcoming. The food was mixed: I’d rate mine a 2, others in our group gave their meals a 3 and a 1. For an $80 bill, we were hoping for a more polished experience. With some extra attention to detail, this place could really improve.

Lucy’s Café isn’t just a meal it’s a time machine with Wi-Fi.
Step inside and you’ll feel like you’ve wandered into New Mexico’s country past, where the retro booths still squeak, the coffee is strong enough to fix your attitude, and the jukebox unapologetically loves country music.

From the classic breakfast dishes your grandma swore by (and probably burned once or twice) to a modern twist that says, “Yes, we still know what avocado toast is,” you’ll find comfort with a side of charm.

Come for the nostalgia, stay for the bacon because nothing says “modern country” like Instagramming your pancakes under a neon sign

This was a wonderful place for breakfast. The menudo was all you can eat (until it's gone) and the french toast was delicious.

They offer homemade, comfort food, American style with a little New Mexico thrown in. A fairly quiet atmosphere... almost like a toned down Village Inn.
