This place used to be my favorite but lately the quality has declined a lot. Today I went to the Main St location about an hour before closing and the staff had orders literally piled on top of each other at the order window because there was no one to pass them out to the customers waiting. You have one employee there who is expected to keep up with drinks and orders and it is setting these poor kids up for failure. I then received my food after a much longer than normal wait and it was incorrect and ice cold when I opened it (my drive home was not that long and it’s never been a problem before). Unfortunately this will probably be my last experience here.

I was always a huge fan of Matteo’s. Since the beginning I was a fan. Yesterday I places an order for my husband, my son and myself. I was very disappointed. The chicken flautas were significantly smaller portioned than before. And they got everything on top. The guacamole is usually really creamy and yummy. Yesterday it was so gross. Noticed the color was different. But once I ate it, could taste primarily jalapeños. I’m not a fan of jalapeño and they’ve never blended it up with guacamole before. Yuck. Smaller portions and the food tasted different. Not sure I’ll be back again anytime soon. If they go back to their old ways I would!

Food is pretty good. Had the green Chile enchilada which was hard to find through all the sauce, but Jesus Christ. Literally. Y'all are playing not just Christian music but worship music which... listen. I'm a former Christian. Was going to be a pastor. Of all Christian music, worship music is the worst. It's music that people can sing the first time they hear it. Simple lyrics, simple chords, and not actually enjoyable to listen to. You've gotta play something that's actually good to listen to. Now I've been out of the scene for almost a decade and my taste tends toward rock and metal, but I know for a fact that there are bands out there that are Christian and make good music. Five Iron Frenzy, theocracy, christafari, Flatfoot 56 Relient K. So many bands that people can enjoy listening to without having to be a Christian.
We stopped by for mid afternoon lunch. It was a bit of a disappointment. We didn't realize upon ordering that everything is an upcharge. The food was just okay - maybe due to the mid afternoon time, but still, we expected better. We likely will not visit again.

Clean, helpful and accommodating service
I got the bowl. The vegetables were watery and it was pretty flavorless. I gave it a 3 because the vegetables were fresh and the warm tortillas were 10/10 and also fresh. I wish this place would have an option with wild caught salmon, shrimp, or tofu.
