I am so bummed about the rumors of Nelly’s closing their doors forever. I looked forward to having lunch at Nelly’s each and every-time I visited Cruces. I would even order take out for every one of my family members in El Paso. The Bañados were the order of choice. I hope the rumors are just that, RUMORS.

Customer service was horrible!! Waited over 10 minutes for someone to take my order and the table was dirty . My drink was brought to me 7 minutes after I ordered it and they didn’t bother to give me ice. I didn’t get chips or salsa !! There was only 5 other people in there. I ended up canceling my order.

This place is a hidden gem. The food here tastes like it was made with the best and freshest ingredients. The Chili Con Queso Steak from the breakfast menu was phenomenal. Perfect amount of food and very reasonably priced. Service was ok and the restaurant appeared very clean.
