Coming from out of town, always risky to pick a restaurant. But we were so happy with dinner at Nopalitos in Las Cruces. The restaurant makes its own recipe of green chilis, which I love. I had the Huevos and partner had nachos. Not were excellent. Service was excellent, (thank you Sandy) and the bill was reasonable. I even bought a carton of the green chilis. There are many green chili places in Las Cruces, but many are overpriced and bland in recipe. Nopalitos is different. We will be back.

BEWARE of your server and management. Food was good, service was good. Upon paying your bill beware of the 15% charge for groups of 8 or more. Our server came over to charge us and never provided a receipt or did her swipe machine showing the 15% gratitude already included in the price. So our whole table double tipped. When confronted by one of our friends who stayed waiting for the receipt and saw the charges. He asked them to refund the second tip, they gladly said no refunds. I will not go back to this restaurant. Dishonest people working there

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Las Cruces. I make it a point to eat here at least once every time I'm in town. I highly recommend the chile con queso, the gorditas, and the combination plate - green.
