Taqueria El Jalisciense is a clean, new, and excellent addition to the local food scene, offering very good and authentic food from Jalisco. The service is excellent, very friendly, and polite. Guests are served an assortment of delicious chips and salsas upon sitting, including perfect, tangy and spicy tomatillo salsa, a sweet and spicy pineapple habanero salsa, smooth avocado salsa, and a perfectly balanced red salsa. The pineapple salsa is amazing.
The tacos are delicious and a good value, with good portions. Diners can order a variety and mix and match tacos, including asada, barbacoa, tripitas, lengua, adobada, al pastor, and barbacoa. The pork in the Tacos Al Pastor is tender and well seasoned. Other menu items are also very good, such as the Gringas al Pastor, the Papa Jalisco, and a generous, very flavorful birria plate. The limonada and melon agua fresca are excellent. The restaurant is a beautiful, clean place and highly recommended.
