We enjoy the iceboxes throughout town, but the service at this one has always been, at best, mediocre. Went last night, got our beers pretty fast. But then never had a server come back to take our food order or get more beer. Not even sure who our actual server was, but a young girl was greeting and talking to all the other tables around us. Tried to get her attention to no avail. Had to go inside to pay. Will not be back.

Decent food, questionable live entertainment. I went in with my folks before a show. I got the cuban, they got a burger and nachos. It was very crowded, which is good, and despite this they served us quickly.
We enjoyed the food, and the nachos plate was GIGANTIC and just loaded with brisket.
But by the WHALES the live entertainment was awful!
Like, ok. Everyone isn't a pro with a voice like a bell. I love supporting artists.
But this dude was terrible. Like, sitcom situation terrible. The diners were actually breathing sighs of relief between songs.
His rhythm was off, he was way too loud, and he couldn't carry a tune in a freight train.
So yeah, decent food, horrible atmosphere.
One other minor note. . . We had to serve our own water. This isn't fast food, what was that all about?

What a great stop in downtown. This was our first visit to Las Cruces and we have fallen in love. The servers are not assigned to tables, so your beer never goes empty. Such a great place.

Check your receipt according to menu price and what they end up charging you. Their menu shows one price, add-ons included, or so I thought. Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not like being overcharged, waiting too long to be fed, waiting, waiting, waiting. Just another high-priced tourist trap. When I finally got food in me, I wondered why I, much less anyone else, would want to go back.

I have been to all the icebox breweries in Las Cruces. This location was always my favorite, well until about six months ago. I’ve been a regular here since it opened and I knew most of the staff and they were excellent, but then last fall/winter they seem to all leave at the same time, always a red flag, and they’ve been replaced by a new group of staff members who have not kept up the level of service. I sometimes wait far to long to get served, which is super annoying, no one seems to pay attention to who’s coming in. I was there this weekend and once again had to go to the bar and let them know that we are waiting for service. So when you’ve been a regular for a long while and are used to a higher level of service and familiar faces, it’s rough. One time I came in Dec 2023 and the three new servers were all discussing something behind the bar pertaining to someone else’s receipt. It was market day so kinda busy. But no one came to our table or acknowledge us. The place was busy but none of them were moving. We sat there for a long time at least 20-30minutes and finally picked up a menu at the bar and asked for someone to come to our table to at least take out beer order. I didn’t complain as I could see they must all be new. But honestly common sense says don’t all stand around discussing while customers need serving.Maybe the reason for lackluster service is they share tips here, so I don’t think there’s much incentive to stand out and do an excellent job. I’ve worked as a bar tender and a server and most servers really dislike sharing/pooling all their tips! It’s an unfair practice to those that work hard. And it rewards the lazy!Speaking of hard workers, there is one exceptional server and he does an excellent job, his name is DANNY! He is one of the original staff members.I always hope I get him as my server as he is far superior to all the others. This used to be my 5 Star brewery but since all the staff left and the new ones are mediocre at best I don’t go as much. Danny could teach them a few things. He should be the manager and get this place back in shape, I hope he doesn’t leave like the others did. He is a 5/5 star server. They also need to have more regular entrainment like weekly quiz night, otherwise it’s kind of boring now. My friends and I are starting to go to the other breweries that have a weekly quiz night. The Food menu though has always been better than all the other brewery locations. Good vegetarian options as well and the beer is good and consistent. Not sure if they have happy hour - honest didn’t pay attention to the price. I hope the service improves or I will have to find a new place to be a regular. Also I think they need to stop allowing young children after 6 pm too many running around like it’s a day care. Sorry not sorry!Control your kids people. If you go more than once make sure you figure out how to earn points, they have a point system for frequently visitors and it works well.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan tacos, fried zucchini, and you can get the nachos without any meat. Sometimes I ask for green chilie cheese fries I don’t know if they are on the menu or not but I get them when I ask for them. All bars should serve these in NM it’s a beer food staple here.
Parking: They don’t have their own parking, but there’s lots of parking in downtown Las Cruces that’s free to use on the street and large parking lots just a short distance from the bar.

I like the place, but the service is always iffy.
Drinks and beer were good. Flavor profile of food was there, but food was cold by the time we got it. Each of us got our food 15-20min apart, even though we ordered together. Told one of the three servers about the cold food, got a "'I'm sorry" then stood there awkwardly until we asked for the check. Was busy when we first got here, but by the time first food item came out restaurant was maybe 1/3 capacity. Very, very disappointed.
