Managers and staff are amazing. Best place in Las Cruces to take friends and family. Will be back every time we come to town.

The service was horrible. Food took forever. We ended up having to cancel our food order. We got tired of waiting. We've been going to the Game. That's been the worst service we've ever gotten.

The Game is a Las Cruces icon and one of my most favorite places anywhere. In addition to being a great place to go on your own or with a friend, it easily accommodates groups and meetings. I have held a number of business & professional society meetings there, as well as casual gatherings with groups of friends. I also very much appreciate that the owner (Marci) gives generous amounts of her time, money, & leadership to help many community organizations & causes.

I was in town over night and asked the front desk where to go. I TRULY GLAD I listened to him. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. Which were PHENOMENAL!!! The server was on point & I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stopping there for a bite to eat!! They’ve got tvs on every wall. So no matter where you sit you can watch whatever sport you are into.

We ended up at this establishment because we couldn’t find parking at another place we intended to go to. That was a mistake.
Service was slow (which was crazy because it was almost 1:30PM on a Saturday in May with very minimum patronage) and the food was mediocre (loaded fries and a burger).
What really annoyed me—and it’s a matter of principle—is that the server didn’t provide exact change when we paid in cash and they rounded DOWN (shorting us, the customer, money). What’s 50 cents? I get it, it’s not a lot. But if the server does this to all cash paying customers, it adds up for them and it’s theft.
Please, do better. It’s a simple solution too-ask the customer if they want their loose change.

Atmosphere is pretty cool. With not a lot of people around, service was terrible. The corked bat, which I was told I simply had to try, was the saddest appetizer I've ever had. It's like they cut one chile in half, smashed it, then cut it in half again, and then breaded it and fried it. There was no green chile in it and all we tasted was pecan. The Pecan Grill's version is much better. Also the water tasted like what I imagine to be garbage water, which makes me question whether they actually clean any of their beverage lines. Inquired about this from some local friends and they had been told by previous employees that the bar doesn't do it very often. If you're going for a drink only, expect moderate to poor service, avoid draft beer, don't drink the water, and you may have an okay experience.

Oh boy where do I begin,,,, we stopped in since it was close to the hotel and REGRET is an understatement . Came for an early dinner and ordered Asada Fries, and The deep fried Hatch strips. Barely any meat on the fries and everything was burnt,, at least the service was decent and beer was cold.
Returned later for the band, Awesome band btw. But sadly as soon as the band stopped playing at about 10:30 everyone started shutting the place down so our night was cut short. Everyone was surprised because it was still early and there was plenty of people still on the patio. As a business owner myself, the last thing I would do is close down early of there's still paying customers . Worst spot I've been too in Cruces and will never even think of going back again. Oh here's the catch,, all the staff came out to the patio and started getting drinks as all the partying customers were told it was last call. That made it even worse, I guess the staff was wanting to get their party started so the customers were pushed out the door. THAT'S AWESOME.
Great appetizers and food!

I always stop by The Game for lunch and drinks when I'm in Las Cruces. The Cork Bats and tacos are delicious, the beer is cold, and the bartenders and service staff are personable and amazing. It is across from the Pan Am Center and beautiful NMSU campus and a great place to go to watch sports. It is definitely worth the visit next time you're in the area. Cheers!
