The Pecan Grill and Brewery

I went there today for the first time since moving to Las Cruces a few months ago. The food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. There was a great atmosphere about the place. Clarissa was our waitress and to be honest, one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She was attentive, quick, and exchanged playful banter with the table. If you can get more employees like her, you definitely should. I'll absolutely be back. 10 out of 10.

The lava burger was a tasteless burger topped with cheap cheese. The lettuce was disgusting. It should never have been put on a plate! The sweet potato fries were waffle shaped out of a bag, served with maple syrup dip. Horrible! I wanted to give this place a chance but they really blew it!

Love our stop here. Wife had pecan crusted chicken and green chile beer. I had lava burger and pils. All was excellent. Abby was our server and was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. A great stop.

We went here for our 3rd wedding anniversary and had the absolute best experience. Great drinks at the bar, our waitress was AMAZING, so kind so funny and the food was 10/10. We are a couple in our early 30s and we wanted a nice, chill, non expensive night and this restaurant delivered. We will absolutely be back again.

My fiancee and I went her for the first time in April. I had the meatloaf. The atmosphere was nice. Mixed drink prices are very reasonable. I had a cucumber smash it was amazing! I don't live in Las Cruces, but next time I go there, I'd go back to The Pecan Grill & Brewery.

Our meals was excellent and Clarissa was on point, very hospitable, polite, and professional when asked about the daily world news paper. Five stars.

Such a unique restaurant, the atmosphere has a great ambiance. The service is great, so many helpful, friendly staff. The food is delicious, you have to try to pecan crusted green chilies.

Ponzu Ahi never disappoints here, so delicious! I skipped the jalapeños. Prime Rib Tuesday... wow, very flavorful! Great Tea Time Mocktail, just sweet enough to be amazing!

Just wanted to throw a shout out to you guys at the pecan grill. Me and my wife was there the 29th of May having an early dinner and I brought my growler with me to be filled with your pecan beer. Which by the way is the best on the planet. We were there 2 years ago and had your pecan beer so we had to come back for a weekend and get some more. By the way, your food is good also and our waiter was spot on. We will be back

Happy hour is nothing to be happy about. We were prepared for a nice meal with reasonable prices (based on the online menu), but when the waitress (who was sweet but unobservant) said the happy hour build your own burger was the same as the regular menu we went for the $10 over the $16. We ordered an appetizer since we saved money and planned on dessert as well. The chips were stale, the green chile queso was good. The burgers and fries were good, if a little too pink for medium well. The creme brulee was unsatisfying. The cost was a surprise: $10 + $2 for cheese + $2 for jalapenos + $4 for bacon. It cost $2 more per burger than the regular menu. It amounts to $4 more than we would have spent, which isn't a big deal, but it feels like a bait and switch and that doesn't feel good.
