Cute little place... The open till 3pm, but the kind staff didn't rush us to enjoy their delicious food. Hope they will have fried bread when we come next time...

My second time having breakfast at Pitstop and today I brought a friend with me. Short drive away after a short hike at the Mesilla Bosque State Park. We both had two types breakfast burritos. Coffee was great. Angela was our server and she was excellent. A positive person and very attentive. We will be returning.

FATTEST taco Tuesday tacos I've had in a while! Absolutely mouthwatering! The staff is always courteous to everyone. The food is delicious, affordable and award winning from what their FB page says. Either way, this hidden gem is incredible. I got my food in 5 minutes at lunch too!!

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid, from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere everything is stellar. If you're traveling and want to experience a taste of Las Cruces NM I would highly recommend you don't miss out on this gem. As a fact, make it a priority. If you live here locally then consider yourself lucky to be around at the same time of such a wonderful establishment, 10/10

Went to the Pit Stop 292 Cafe on my quest to find the best burger in Las Cruces. The staff is super friendly and I'd highly recommend going but their burgers get the lowest marks of anywhere I've tried in town. Pit Stop 292 Cafe ranks at the very bottom of my best burger list delivering a thin, anemic patty made even worse by being overcooked.

On the bright side, there are menu items worth the trip. Their pork cutlet sandwich is epic and a local legend. Why they can deliver such an awesome pork sandwich and such a poor burger is kind of a mystery but there it is.

We came in for breakfast and it was perfect! Generous portions and attentive service. I had an omelette and the hashbrowns- both were perfect. We got plenty of coffee refills. Can’t wait to come back!

I ate here yesterday for the first time. Chips and salsa were good . Salsa was hot and had good flavor. I had the red enchiladas and they were delicious. A lot of cool stuff to look at. A hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I was dissatisfied with the fact that the online menu prices were falsely advertised and the cost in reality was much more. This was brought to the attention of the owner who quickly addressed the issue and reduced the price fairly. That is what customer service is about. I really appreciated his willingness to sacrifice under 10 dollars to guarantee my satisfaction. For that, I will most assuredly return again. Besides all that the breakfast food was great. We had the Arnies Special wirh red chili, over easy eggs and potatoes 😊 Thank you very much.

Great food, and it tastes like it was made at home. It's hard to find a good restaurant, but this place I love. Waitress was friendly and courteous . Thanks for your customer courtesy 👍

Chicken fried steak is homemade with a chili con queso that has good flavor. A little older building but good food.

Very charming decor. Had the top sirloin steak and eggs. The steak was more medium than medium rare as I requested, but not too bad. Good cut, but lacked flavor...a little seasoning would have kicked it to a 5. Will be back to try the club sandwich next time.

Older building next to ran down motel. Interior was clean but definitely dated. Chips were good, salsa was just right from a spicy perspective but needed salt. Ordered them Flautas with beans and rice. Flautas were covered in queso so you couldn't pick them up, they were too hard to cut with fork so eating them was problematic. Tasted ok but nothing special. Rice was dry and the rice was broken up, beans were a little dry but tasted ok. Not impressed.
