The Shack is a hole in the wall that looks like an old tire shop and is fenced in. Despite that, it has some of the most authentic cheese steaks in probably a 500 mile radius. The green chili cheese fries were top off the line. The flavor is outstanding. There's probably no better middle-of-somewhere cheese steak than this one. It's worth the trip just for this place. Great food, little bit of attitude, extremely loud trains. It's perfect. Phenomenal food and great service in a very unassuming location. The cheesesteak is entirely authentic, with the addition of New Mexico green chile. Outdoor seating only. The cheesesteaks were by far the best, exceptional. It is a hole in the wall but the food definitely outweighs everything else. The cheesesteaks were well worth the drive. The young lady that cooked and served the food was very pleasant. Since she was originally from Philadelphia it makes sense that the cheesesteaks were great. Don't worry that you have to sit outside and the restaurant is small. The food was great.
