Quick food, big portions, like the taste. This is how I get my fast food Chinese fix
We'd been driving around the town center area of Los Alamos for about 15 minutes and everything was already closed-at 7:30 p.m.! We stumbled into this place, possibly the only open restaurant, and came in. We were the last 2 customers and they were very nice about accommodating us. We ordered 2 bowls with rice noodles & chicken thigh meat and zucchini noodles with beef. The chicken was good but the beef was like cutting shoe leather and chewy as hell. We took home the portions we hadn't eaten and I lost any interest in eating mine, after getting a pretty strong case of MSG reaction rash. I wanna comment on the city of Los Alamos, since Tripadvisor has no link for that. It totally amazes me that a city full of educated professionals and tech workers is such a hick town with regards to night life. I'm not even talking about discos, clubs, partying till dawn. I'm talking about a city where it's virtually impossible to eat dinner after 7:00 p.m., with the exception of 1-2 pubs and this place. I asked the girl who took our orders and she told me it has nothing to do with the Covid situation, that Los Alamos usually shuts down at that hour, crazy!
Good hot Chinese food. Need more help though.
Noodle and rice bowls! Grsat service and prices.
China moon is no more, closed down during Covid-19 and reopened this week as Red Dragon Bowl. Same location and phone number, totally different concept. Kind of a chipotle setup, you pick noodles or rice, veggies and protein and they make you a bowl
It is a decent buffet for Chinese food. :)
I was expecting food that tasted like food you would normally get at a Chinese restaurant - it was not - not even close not a single thing I tasted. Was hoping to wash it dOwn with a soda drink - but even that was bad - soda drink tasted like soap. Was anxious to leave.
Plates were dirty and they took a long time to get our drinks
Best Chinese restaurant in town!!! For buffet!
First time there. Drove from Santa Fe, N.M. USA. 87507 just to eat there. Awesome food. (Buffet).

it was awesome like always..I left my wallet behind, the waitress ran all the way to my car to return it to me. the food is always fresh and hot..🔥 thank you all..
The selection was smaller than other buffets I've been to, but each item I tried was very, very tasty. Everything was clean and tidy with staff wiping things down...nice to see. Each item made its own distinct taste and sauce. There were lots of vegetable choices. Good to see beef and shrimp selections, as most buffets have almostly chicken items. The prices were good. We will return.
Not too bad for being one of the only two Chinese restaurants in town. Decent lunch buffet and very friendly staff that helped us with determing what items were vegetarian. We were surprised that they have vegetarian and vegan soups on the buffet too. Good value for the money.
Used to eat there a lot when I would go up to Los Alamos food was always great last time I went it seems like they got a new cook service wasn't as great also
Food looked so old and not much of a choice. Better off buying the ingredients and cooking at home. Not worth anything over $5.99 all you can eat in my opinion.
