I had the barbacoa tacos, my daughter had the Frito pie. Tacos 8/10 and Frito pie 7.5/10. (I generally don't care for Frito pies.) Mexican owned 💪 Mostly spoke Spanish and wasn't exactly warm welcomed but it's at a food court what can you expect right. But the food was great over all the salsa that came with the tacos solid 9/10 spicy but not only spice has plenty of flavor in the fire. The Frito pie has some different type of Frito that adds some flavor of their own which makes it even better.

We stopped at this restaurant during a day trip. The restaurant is inside a Smith's and therefore seating options indoors are limited. However, there's plenty of seating outside with really great views of the hills. The employees were really nice and helped us choose an option. The food was really tasty and the portions were large. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stop here again on our next road trip.

Ok some ppl have no food so it seems petty to complain about an atomic burger that for no simple reason is atomic in any way. I asked if the meal came with a drink and got zero response. I'm gonna be petty. Poor service but at least good was good and I posted this afterwards so they didn't spit in it. Add a pepper 🌶️ spice it up this is home of the atomic bomb 💣 after all. I mean damn.

So, I paid $16 plus 1.13 tax for a burrito today.
Make sure you say Asada FRIES Burrito, so you don’t order the more expensive Asada Burrito (which is not listed on the menu) by accident and then be left wondering: “where are my fries?” 😆
I’m gonna have to save up some money before I go back again.

This shop is located inside the Smith's in the SW corner of the store. They are real fast which is good since they have quite a line every day at lunch! Food is the best Mexican I've tried in Los Alamos so far, and the prices are reasonable given Los Alamos. Staff are friendly and did I mention fast? Being in the Smith's food court means lots of other choices for drinks and sides, too. When you're in a hurry and want a tasty bite, Senor Torta's does the trick! Note that it can be hard to find seating during the lunch rush, so prepare to wait or take it away.
So far it has been great at the new location. The food is excellent, and a good value. It may seem expensive at first, but the portions are large, and I'm a big eater. I normally can't finish a $14 plate for lunch and save some for dinner. Really happy that this is working for the owner. He seems like a genuine nice guy every time I talk to him, and he is there almost every time I go by.
Normally decent food but been twice now and they are closed during normal working hours.

They have been coming to Albuquerque to sell tacos and burritos on Saturdays for a few years at the growers market on Central Ave. At first their burritos were delicious in comparison to now. Tasteless, soggy and the beef that they call stake, is PURE FAT. Can’t they tell their sells are shrinking? They used to have a line of people wanting to buy their goods. I bought one today and definitely the last time! These people are also sooo unfriendly, in particular the older blond wanna be lady and the younger girl who wraps the burrito, rude to the core!
