overall well managed and consistent location. I like the convenience of a drive-up (rather than drive-through). The new(ish) app-order/pickup works well for me compared to trying to order through a speaker and then fumble payment with the carhop. This location has always been average or better with a few bad spells, but nothing horrific. Service is usually good, though occasionally it has been spotty... maybe not in the last year or so? For a small town with high cost of living, it must be hard to attract and keep employees, I am happy to have the option to tip easily... encourage good (even basic) service!

Most of the stalls are broken and employees will make you wait if you get service at all. If you do get service you can pretty much guarantee your order will be wrong.

Its okay, nothing special
Pulled in, hit the button, and was told they'd be right with me. Then the light went out. Gotta hit it again. Same thing. After that the light kept flashing so I'm still good. Light goes out. Try one more time and try to tell them what it's doing. Didn't hear me. No other open stalls so I wave down an employee and let them know. She just said they're really busy so I'll have to wait and try another stall. I appreciate it but 30 minutes is a while to wait and to presumably be put back to the end of the line each time.

Waited 10 minutes for help, literally no one else in the stalls, employee rude stated only two of them are working and refused to take my order 11-23-25 5:40pm. Worst customer service ever here

I had to pull into 3 stalls as the other 2 did not work. After about 5 minutes took my order for 1 drink. Came out about 10 minutes later, drink was wrong, but receipt was correct. Very slow service.

As someone who's worked service jobs in the past, I am usually very relaxed and sympathetic towards fast food workers but the incompetence I saw at Sonic's tonight was baffling. I waited for over 40 minutes from the time I was supposed to pick my food up and the reason they gave me is that they lost my burger. Lost my BURGER? HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN??? It would be funny if it wasn't so complexing. Like I get being backed up and understaffed but huh? I ordered nearly an hour in advanced and it took my calling them from the drive thru for them to actually tell me this information. My receipt is pictured below, 6:50 is when I ordered it:

It's a constant thing to have to wait for your food for close to an hour. Here is a tip if the kitchen is that far behind tell people its going to be a 20-45 minuit long wait before they decide to order and pay. Don't just say we will be with you in a minuit sorry we are slammed. Give us a time frame. The lady in the carhop next to me asked an employee when they would get to her and the employee just said they had to stop takeing orders. So I told her that I arrived at 5.30 and didn't get my food till 6.32.
