Loved this casual eatery in Los Alamos. You order at the counter up front, and then they bring your food to your table. The sopaipillas were our favorite on this trip…instead of being hollow, they’re more like fry bread, thick and fluffy and light. Delicious! I had the fry bread taco, and it was very nice with green and red chile. We would definitely stop here again next time we pass by.
Vegetarian options: Like most New Mexican joints, they are very friendly with their red and green sauce, and they know which beans and posole you can eat. My vegetarian hubby was happy and had more options here than typical.
Very traditional New Mexican restaurant. Had breakfast here this morning and food was excellent. The restaurant is authentic, family run and the food matched with a home cooked vibe. I’ll be back the next time I’m in los alamos!

Food was great! Nice little hole in the wall! We were in town for a tour and walked right across the street and enjoy a quick and good lunch!

Horrible experience, Treatment of handicap elderly lady, making her feel bad that she was in the way. No accommodations were made just sour looks and laughing. Making her feel unwelcome in an establishment that says they are about family. Shame on them. Called and spoke with the owner and instead of listening. Hangs up. Lost another customer.... They dont even deserve a star maybe a negative one.
