Food has changed. I use to like the Roberto Special but then they changed the patty. Now it tastes like a frozen patty instead of a homemade patty

Location on 4th street is the worst. Went there around 7:30 m on weekday, the girls working the front were just very unprofessional and welcoming. They were to busy chit chatting, we were told to sit while they cleaned a table. We waited 10 min and didn't see anyone cleaning table so we ended up just leaving. It's not the first time we've had this experience at this location. I feel they need better training or put someone who knows how to interact with customers to make them feel welcomed. Food is always great and that s why I chose to give Sadie's another try

This is the NM flavor I travelled for! Should have taken 2 tums before though. It’s a bit too spicy, but too spicy is what it’s supposed to be. Also very well priced coming from California.

Loved this place!!!! I'm not from Albuquerque but grew up in Las Cruces. I was looking for NM style Mexican food made with Hatch chilies. SCORE!!!Sorry, all i photographed were the chips because I was too excited about the entre. They were not stingy with the chips.Get the choose 2, 3 or 4 combo plate and mix it up. It's all good!

Chiles relleno were pretty good though a bit heavy on the batter! Try their prickly pear margarita - you will love it!

Try the coconut margarita!! You won't be disappointed. The tamales were delicious. I haven't eaten this good since I moved out of Albuquerque. Glad we tried this place venturing back to Texas!
I've always liked Sadie's! The food is always consistent and tasty. My only issue was that the server, Mathew T, did not ask a table of 9 if they wanted to split the check. I hate that it was assumed that one person would pay for 8 others. Also, it wasn't fully itemized. 5 of us got the same drink, that was one item on the bill, several people got similar food items, those were one item (ex. On the bill - margaritas $58.20)... So because of that we had to sit there on our phones trying to figure out who owed what and of course people didn't take into account the taxes so someone was left picking that part up and somehow he got a larger tip because we didn't want to wait for change since we had spent time on figuring the bill out. This used to happen back in the day... But Mathew had a handheld device that took credit cards... Seems like he could have That whole ordeal pissed me off and lowered my rating because of it.
The place has gone downhill. The chile was below average tasting. I can remember the food was the best in town. My husband couldn't even finish his beef taco.
