I love being surprised. I’ve been coming to Lovington for going on a decade now and only recently did I give this restaurant a try. I wish I had done so so much sooner!
I can speak to the lunch buffet and I must say it is quite a treat. It is small but what it has is packed with goodies. There’s a solid salad bar and the best part? It has spinach! It has all the basic veg, toppings, and dressings, though I wish they had a solid oil and vinegar option but can’t have everything.
Every day sports a different meat portion and on both visits here I’ve not been disappointed. It’s home cooking, comfort-food types, but they’re solid, tasty, and filling.
The true treat? The various cobblers. I had blackberry cobbler the first time and though it had been there awhile it was delicious. Today they had cherry and peach. The crust in all cases have been tasty, a little too sweet for me, but it’s rare that I get this kind of dessert so I really can’t complain. Beyond this, they have pies, pudding, and soft-serve ice cream that I’ve not partook of, but I don’t doubt they’re all solid sweet options. I just wanted what I could tell was cooked in house. I can get pies anywhere, homemade cobbler is sublime.
Then the service: Friendly, competent, and attentive. All you can ask for in the wait staff.
I highly recommend coming here for the lunch if you’re in the mood for home cooking. I’ll definitely be back for another helping of cobbler!

Grandma's rolls and buttermilk pie ? so good had steak and baked potatoes. The food was amazing the staff amazing ? so impressed. And it's not crazy expensive. My new place to eat tor sure thank u for putting love back into
