“Traveling is fun but can be exhausting. We are Southern California residents and had dinner here after a long day. We knew what we wanted. Good meat and fresh salad! the buffet was so good...my wife wanted to tell everyone! We ran into someone on the way out and she raved about it...to the daughter of the business owner Terry!! This is a local well-loved establishment - 30years this past Feb 2026...check it out. Five stars!!!!!”

“jan 10, 2026 I’ve visited this restaurant before without any issues, so this experience was disappointing. When we entered and sat down to eat, a street vendor selling empanadas came into the restaurant. She did not appear to be affiliated with the restaurant. After we placed our drink order, our waitress directed the vendor to our table. Unfortunately, we only had a card to pay, and the vendor stated she did not accept cards. This led to visible frustration from both the vendor and our waitress. Other staff members later brought out our food, and two waitresses attempted to console the vendor, but the situation made us uncomfortable. We were simply there to enjoy a meal and pay for our food, and we did not expect to be put in an awkward position involving a third-party vendor. We have never experienced anything like this here before, but due to feeling pressured and uncomfortable, we’ve decided not to return. We hope the restaurant considers clearer boundaries between staff and outside vendors so future guests don’t have a similar experience. Más tarde, otros miembros del personal nos llevaron la comida, y dos meseras intentaron tranquilizar a la vendedora, pero la situación nos hizo sentir incómodos. Nosotros solo queríamos disfrutar de nuestra comida y pagar nuestra cuenta, y no esperábamos vernos involucrados en una situación incómoda con una persona externa al restaurante. Nunca habíamos tenido una experiencia así en este lugar, pero debido a la incomodidad y la presión que sentimos, hemos decidido no regresar. Esperamos que el restaurante considere establecer límites más claros entre su personal y vendedores externos para evitar que otros clientes pasen por una situación similar.”

“It was first thing in the morning and somehow the donuts weren't even fresh, they were super cold. I kinda figured with them just opening that they would have just made the donuts fresh but didn't seem that way. They lady taking our order/serving us at the drive thru window wouldn't even actually come to the window to speak to us and take our order. She stayed over by the register having to slightly yell to us to be heard which in turn we also had to do the same thing for her to hear us as well..”

“Coffee was way better than Starbucks last week, that I visited several times. I need to stick to small-chain, family ownership businesses, because clearly it's what is better. I need my coffee and thank-you for doing it justice and not watering it down.”

“The burritos here are FAT. I work 10-12+ hours a day and I get two of them to eat on all day. Chorizo, egg, bacon, & cheese. $11. I usually tip $4. $15 breakfast & lunch. Hard to beat.”

“I’m from Lubbock, TX and while traveling to New Mexico we stopped in lovington and decided to grab something to eat. We took a chance on Ole Jax and now we are HOOKED! The best burger I’ve ever had, it is definitely worth the hour and a half drive I’ve done it multiple times now because it’s so good!!!”
