“This place is definitely open and the food was amazing. Everything was good. Shrimp cocktail and Coconut Shrimp was just south of amazing. Best rice I’ve had in NM and the charro beans were awesome as well. My expectations were not very high going in but I will most definitely be back. Highly recommend this place“

“jan 10, 2026 I’ve visited this restaurant before without any issues, so this experience was disappointing. When we entered and sat down to eat, a street vendor selling empanadas came into the restaurant. She did not appear to be affiliated with the restaurant. After we placed our drink order, our waitress directed the vendor to our table. Unfortunately, we only had a card to pay, and the vendor stated she did not accept cards. This led to visible frustration from both the vendor and our waitress. Other staff members later brought out our food, and two waitresses attempted to console the vendor, but the situation made us uncomfortable. We were simply there to enjoy a meal and pay for our food, and we did not expect to be put in an awkward position involving a third-party vendor. We have never experienced anything like this here before, but due to feeling pressured and uncomfortable, we’ve decided not to return. We hope the restaurant considers clearer boundaries between staff and outside vendors so future guests don’t have a similar experience.
