The double meat cheeseburger is delicious. The best part though, are the onion rings! If youre old enough to remember Zetners and Zetners Daughter in San Angelo, these are the same onion rings and theyre delicious!

The people are very friendly and have been both times. I have been there twice, and just call ahead and pass through because it's out of the way for me. The first time was just magical, everything prepared and ready and amazing flavor and quality. The second time I came towards the end of the lunch time I guess, and there were several things I couldn't get and then only had the brisket. Without a doubt it was the worst brisket I'd ever had anywhere and I was totally caught off guard. Of course by then I was almost to Lubbock. The pork chops were very good, the poppers were decent and I had some ribs that were pretty good. I'm probably going to stop by again but it definitely will be only when they are busy. The reviews are great, and the way they treat the customers is great - unlike many places they don't seem to be pushing getting tips. In fact the first time the young lady insisted that I didn't tip her. Having made a living for about 5 years as a server I was kind of caught off guard. Small town feel and you can get both raw fresh meat as well as cooked and some fixins. Unique place and I definitely will try again but watch more carefully what I get. Again it was the worst chopped brisket and maybe meat all together, beyond a reasonable doubt, that I've ever had, even the barbecue sauce didn't overcome the flavor and dried out nature. Again I'm certain that was an exception, and I'm definitely going to try a third time although I will have that horrible experience in the back of my mind unfortunately. As well as the friendly phone and in person customer service.

Only reason I have it. a 4**** is because the mc cheese. IDK it's like the noodles and cheese made separately or something. But OMGOSH tg Chicken Fry and Beef jerky is SOOOOO GOOD. Y'all gotta try is ever that way !! And the fresh meat looked so good. Plus good prices on meals and fresh meat. Breakfast burritos and regular breakfast was so good as well.

Shocked anyone would rate this below 5 stars. Great good at very reasonable prices. Attentive staff. Clean facilities. The poppers were amazing. This will be my go to stop anytime I'm within 50 miles of here. This would be the rare exception I would give 6 stars if I could.

We stopped in today on our way home back to Texas. Got a cheeseburger, fries, onion rings, and some tea.
The burger was really good. Patty was perfectly seasoned, onion rings were delicious! I wish the fries were cooked just a little longer, but they weren't bad.
The tea was surprisingly good.

The girls that took my order over the phone, and helped us when we arrived were so friendly, and just amazing.

We'll definitely stop by on our next trip.

An interesting store. It appears to be a butcher’s store that also provides catering and is a small restaurant. We got breakfast here and it was delicious. Definitely a place I would recommend for breakfast. If you visit be sure to look around, some of the cuts of meat look VERY yummy and economical.
