So delicious! Had the apple sandwich with turkey and a cold brew. Environment and quality of food 10/10

We stopped in for brunch and some of us were disappointed because they stopped serving breakfast food right as we walked in. The food we ended up ordering was delicious. We sat outside and it was beautiful. There was live music, which was a vibe. There isn't much of a drink selection. I wanted a Sprite but they only had Diet Coke or maybe Coke Zero. I was in Mesilla visiting family and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.

The breakfast quesadilla was so tasty and huge. We shared. The cinnamon scone was the best we’ve had. Our Barista Sarah was attentive and efficient. What a great employee. thank

I have enjoyed the transition from Josephina's to The Bean as it makes this gorgeous, authentic adobe inn more accessible. I don't wait for service, I can sit and meditate while there, or go with a group. The menu is interesting, especially as a vegetarian. Coffee, teas, and food are very good.

We go to The Bean for breakfast, but their lunch menu looks good too. They have amazing pastries and coffee. The meat and vegetarian omelets are both excellent and come with great potatoes. This place is a regular stop whenever we're in Mesilla.Walkability: The restaurant is located right next to the Mesilla downtown where you can walk to all the shops.

I have a different experience with the Bean in a different location (much less positive than at this location), so I will try and keep this review strictly to this location - personal disclaimer It is a quaint little spot which smells absolutely lovely when you walk in. The indoor seating is a good size, but there is way more outdoor seating - great in the mild Las Cruces weather. The people were very nice and helpful since I had a bit of a time deciding on what to eat. I personally do not like how much potatoes are in breakfast burritos generally, but they were understanding and put only a tiny amount for me which was perfect. I also selected the green chili to go with it as well as a Matcha Latte. One of the friends I was with ordered a muffin which we all shared. My burrito was absolutely delicious and I practically inhaled it with my green chili. I did not like my Matcha Latte because they added sweetener to it which was kind of over-powering. To me, the muffin was kind of terrible. It was really hard and tasteless. I think the sweetener they put in the matcha should have gone into the muffin. The burrito and the ambiance of the outdoor seating though, I definitely recommend.

Stopped in with friends for a takeout lunch while we were in town. It's a super cute location and I would have loved to stay and eat there if we weren't so tired from our conference. The food was yummy. The server was friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Love The Bean!Google has this listed as a hotel? It’s a restaurant, not a hotel. The Josefina’s hotel shut down two years ago. The dining part became The Bean at Josefina’s (or “The New” Bean”), a great coffee, breakfast and lunch place.Food & drinks: The food is healthy and excellent!
Cute little place for breakfast. The Desert Toast is amazing. Live music on the patio.

Cute little cafe in Mesilla, Small inside, but a handful of tables. Beautiful patio! With plenty of room. A great place to relax or have a business lunch. Limited menu but so far everything I have tried is excellent.

A nice place for breakfast or lunch. Outdoor seating is a must for the beautiful patio. This is a good place to go have coffee and take time out. Definitely go if you have time to chill. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

We were there for breakfast; the food was good especially their Green Chili Pozole. You order at the counter and wait service brings it out. Waitress provided us with any extras we needed. Nice patio too!
Good taste.
