“Dined in cantinas, pleasant and comfortable setting. Wait staff attentive and allowed us plenty of time to visit and enjoy a drink before ordering food. I had calamari which was good although slightly overcooked( which is easy to do) and my friend had shrimp tacos which she was pleased withAgain wonderful staff.”
“Great atmosphere, largest parrots that I have ever seen, aquariums, very colorful. The of course is plentiful and very tasty.Parking: Parking on the street if you are lucky, I was.”
“We stopped in for brunch and some of us were disappointed because they stopped serving breakfast food right as we walked in. The food we ended up ordering was delicious. We sat outside and it was beautiful. There was live music, which was a vibe. There isn't much of a drink selection. I wanted a Sprite but they only had Diet Coke or maybe Coke Zero. I was in Mesilla visiting family and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.”
“You asked me dear friend 2017 while at Palacios if I would ever move to Las Cruces when driving through from Seattle to see family in Texas. It's now 2024, I live off main street, hoping to run into you, but now you're buried at Hillcrest (Same name of your highschool in Dallas). Gone too soon at 33 from cancer. I'll try to do many things while here that you can no longer do. I'll do them in hopes of making you proud. Rest well Maria.Thank you for the memories Palacios.”
“The meals are very beautifully prepared and delicious. A real treasure on the square in Old Mesilla.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options. The decaf coffee is delicious!”
“I loved being in this restaurant. The building was built in 1849. It has a beautiful banquet room. In the center of the restaurant is a large greenhouse with tables to eat at. The food was absolutely delicious.”
“This is the quintessential dive bar. You can see the history in the walls. You know what to expect. Burrito lady walking around with burritos was awesome late at night and quite tasty. Wish they had better tequila options, but hey...”
“the server, John, was a very good waiter. the pineapple topped salmon was OHMYGOODNESS good! the beef in the fajitas was NOT good. very bland and slightly tough. and the coconut Flan was good. all in all, a good experience. you can't win them all.”
“My son and I typically go through the drive thru for burritos before work/school and it’s always quick and delicious . The couple of times I’ve dined in, it has been delicious and their prices are affordable. The huevos rancheros with green chile are my fave! Friendly atmosphere and clean!”
“Pleasant discovery!Lalo himself greeted us and carefully explained the menu. It is a Mexican food truck par excellence!Everything was served very hot and fresh. We had the asada tacos and some fries with a side of rajas. Complimentary Buenelos! Just wonderful.Seating is rustic and parking is on street, but worth the culinary experience. We will definitely be back for more and bring some friends and family with us.”
“We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal. You can eat inside or outside. The dinning room is small but that adds to the charm of the place. I had the Mexican Mollete which I have never had before. It was delicious. My wife had the Pozole which was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go here again when we are in town.”
“We had a change of plans at Easter and d h lescombes did not disappoint. Excellent wine great food and service. Recommend to all visitors to las cruces and mesilla.”
“Great , I mean REALLY GREAT thoughtful original dishes prepared to perfection.Vegetarian options: I don't remember all the names but there are at least 4 great entrees plus pancakes so it is pretty comprehensive. The fruit that comes with the spinach keish is plentiful and fresh! This place is a winner for vegetarians and those that aren't. I will become a regular at this place.Parking: At peak times it can be harder to find a spot in the lot , but just park legally on the side street on the south side of the parking lot . Pro Tip: You may have to go a bit down that street to find parking.”
“Wonderful pizza. Get the Tiffany pizza. You will love it. Also the Greek salad.Vegetarian options: Greek salad.Parking: Tiffany pizza is in an office complex so plenty of parking.”
“Atmosphere was fantastic. Multiple Beautiful rooms with lots of space. Built to be a place you can relax or get work done. Very nice staff and wonderful coffee. A must stop!”
“First Time going with a party of 6. Food was delucious and tasty. It was clean music playing in the background. Got chips and salsa while waiting for order. Red chili pork a bit spicy but good. Borrachos beans were not what I imagined. I didn't eat the fideos but they looked good so did the calabazitas they had a kick to them.”
“I love going here to get lunch or dinner and a beer! The food is fantastic, atmosphere is great, and the drinks are reasonably priced! I definitely recommend Andele's dog house”
“Caliches is a Las Cruces classic! I love grabbing a frozen treat here. I personally love the grasshopper sundae and their root beer floats. When my family comes in to town my sister always wants to grab a vanilla cone from here! Definitely 10/10Dietary restrictions: They are really good about being careful with nut allergies”
“Tired for the first time today. Food is great. I think staff could be a little better, I walked in and wasn’t even acknowledged- a missed opportunity to sell products, or the idea of ordering a week’s worth, options for purchasing, etc. no different than walking into a gas station to buy something. Interestingly, when you pay at the end, they ask how much of a tip you want to leave.”
“This place is awesome. They remember their customers and their service is always friendly. Their food is delicious. I especially recommend the ramen. Their coconut sake is great too!”
“Great experience here! Dining room clean, comfortable and accommodating of little ones. Excellent food with vegan options. Great service. The lentil soup was awesome and a great touch. I highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Lentil soup, fajitas, enchiladasKid-friendliness: Plenty of boosters and high chairs and a great kid menu”
“Food was delicious, perfectly spiced and seasoned. Had the butter chicken, chicken curry including salad, rice, naan bread, dessert, and complimentary chai tea. Fixed menu allows for fast service and the hostess was kind and helpful. They close at 5pm but allowed us to stay and eat at our leisure. Found the large screen music videos distracting. I think the ambiance would be better if there was just some soft music playing. You get a lot of food for the price. Will definitely come again when in the mood for Indian food.Vegetarian options: There were plenty of options when it comes to vegetarian dishes. All of the vegetarian parts of my meal tasted great.Parking: Parking is mostly on the side but there is room both in front and in back of the building.Kid-friendliness: The menu I was given was not kid-friendly. They do have a cheaper meal option that includes a smaller portion but I saw no kids menu.”
“Best tasting hamburgers ever. I remember when I was a kid getting the bulletin for a coupon for the burgers. Reminds me of my family. Burger Nook brings people together!!”
“The best Mexican food in Las Cruces. The burritos and rolled tacos are amazing. I always love making a stop @ El Indio given the food is always fresh, delicious and keeps you coming back for more. Aside from the food, the Service is impeccable and the employees are friendly, nice and very personable. 5+ stars”
“Omg every single bite was delicious! The freeChips were super fresh and they came with four different salsas, all wonderful and unique. Plus that sweet little desert pillow at the end is a nice touch. Price is a good value too with the huge amount of quality food you get.”
“I don't understand why they can't make regular rice for an option. That Cinnamon rice they have is gross. Why can't they switch out a lamb kabob for another chicken kabob? Why are they so chinsy with the Kalamata olives? They are not flexible at all!! Everything is No!!The food is good, though. The Baba Ganoush is delicious. The Greek salad dressing is too tart, and again, only two Olives? The restaurant decor and service is depressing ?”
“JeongsukahThe 7th International Film Festival will be held in Las Cruces from April 3rd to 7th. Sponsored by NMSU for large-scale events. Participants: It looks like acquaintances from the film industry from other cities are coming again this week. Prepare a plentiful meal as you may be crowded at the rendezvous. Awesome? My sister is currently in El Paso for a while. love youbless youMyeongju unnie03.24.24 2015 MDT”
“So my husband was looking for good tacos, since he loves tacos! So he was browsing around checking out some good restaurants places to eat! He was going through some reviews looking around when he came around this restaurant! Close to where we are staying, so we decided to go check it out! To me you could be in the most ghetto place but if your cooking is awesomeness and good, well I don’t care! So we decided to go, never being there this is literally my first time being there! I love food and I enjoy eating it! If you don’t cook it right and doesn’t give me that vibe that it should as soon as it touches my tongue, then you’ll never see me again, but I’ll be giving you a one star review! So said that I really recommend this small nice restaurant full of delicious food and awesome people as services! It ain’t a fancy 5 star restaurant but to me is the best restaurant as Mexican authentic food you could ever have!! Good job! ????P.S there white cheese dip OMG Buenísimo mind blowing!! Next time I’ll be trying something different! I’ll be posting more pictures till next time ????”
“This place is perfect, I have eaten here twice since moving to new Mexico and I was amazed by how fast my pick up order was ready when I got there, I live about five minutes away from this location and it is now my go to for dinner. The staff are very friendly.”
“Everyone was so friendly and the good was delicious! I was a little worried about eating something spicy right before hitting the road but this was absolutely perfect. I had the huevos rancheros topped with red sauce and raspberry tea.”
