This is a really cool place. If you are in the area a definite place to visit.

Fun vibe, tasty food. Good for the whole family, though parking can be tricky and since it's a large place, it can be noisy

We came here on a visit to the town square of Mesilla for a couple of margaritas and some tacos. We ate on the patio and it was beautiful! Authentic, STRONG and delicious margaritas made the RIGHT way. They have two pages of choices for margaritas, and we were blown away by the freshness and quality of the spirits provided. Food was authentic and delicious, and the salsa was out of this world. We will be back next time we are in Las Cruces! (this is a GREAT place to go for a fun date night)

I've stopped by twice this year while passing through on a road trip. The first time I loved it and the 2nd time felt a little disappointing. Great atmosphere, friendly hostesses. I took my BF the 2nd time, bragging about how good it was and it ended up being a letdown. Perhaps it was because it was dinner time and a little busier than my first visit, but the food was not hot, bland and dried out. Had the beef soup, tamale (was very dry and crumbly), shredded chicken tacos (shells were stale) and chile rellenos. We ordered three drinks, and they were just ok. The salsa is yummy! The food experience just felt a little sloppy and based on that I would unlikely return.

Very unique place i loved the building and atmosphere we had a party of 25 and they gave us 1 server who had clearly never handled a large group before we were there forever and food was very mediocre i personally got fajitas just to be safe and the tortillas were doughy the meat was chewy just not good we were excited to go here but definitely won't be back.

Restaurantji Recommends
You go for the atmosphere/location. Not the food. Food portions are super small and quite frankly don’t taste very well. If your looking for good tasting Mexican food, would recommend going to si senior for better quantity food

Always a good spot. Authentic mexican food and the ambiance is off the charts. Recommend to locals and visitors

The food was good but way overpriced. Small bowl of caldo costs more than it was worth. Shrimp ceviche had a bunch of lettuce at the bottom and not enough ceviche. It came with a huge side of chips for the very “tiny” taco bowl of ceviche served. Please do not false advertise on the menu, and please advise that your ceviche has more salad on the bottom propping up the little bit of shrimp in the bowl, and that it comes with a half of avocado, which is more than the shrimp itself

Festive decorations, high ceilings and plenty of space make this classic venue fun to visit. The margarita was better than the food, which was fine but not outstanding. Worth it because it's a Las Cruces institution.
