Amazing staff! I called ahead to grab a gift for my mom, and they stayed open 10 min later on Christmas eve for me.

Really interesting tea flavors. I love that they always have samples. Friendly service.
I really don’t like that they can’t make any tea they have for you as a cup. Gave only 4/5 because It seems this should be the bare bones of what a tea shop can do. Then if customers like it they are more willing to buy.

Amazing selection of loose leaf tea, and gorgeous teapots, teacups, diffusers, and even gaiwan!! Very friendly service and they brew the PERFECT cup of tea on top of it all. Old Barrel Tea Company is a treasure. Definitely a must when in Mesilla.

Cool tea shop with a unique selection of blends and gifts to accompany them. They have a few teas you can get brewed to go (about 4-6) and kombucha on tap and samples. The tea blends were rather expensive, but there were many blends that'd be hard to find elsewhere.

This is a quaint shop with a nice variety of teas and tea accessories. The staff person was so helpful and made some great suggestions for my group.

This place has the best loose leaf tea and honey selection. The employees are very kind and most helpful. I highly recommend trying OBTC if you love tea.

Went here with my friend while we were exploring the Mesilla Plaza area.

My friend bought some tea, but I didn't buy anything. I walked around the shop looking at all the cool gift items available while my friend talked to the worker.

The worker was very knowledgeable about the teas the shop had for sale. She helped my friend pick out the right tea for a gift.

The store was cute and smelled really good. The worker was helpful and kind. This is a great place to buy tea or a cute gift.

Delicious loose leaf tea. Expensive and yet I keep buying it

I don’t know about all the flavors, but the blood orange is flavored in an oil that contains something artificial. I have an intolerance to aspartame and msg. I had all the symptoms when I drank this tea. When I called them they told me the tea is soaked in a flavor oil. My suspicions were confirmed, unfortunately.RESPONSE to owner-“Natural flavors” is an umbrella term. You have it listed as an ingredient on a lot of your teas. You are not required to list what it consists of. MSG and aspartame are considered “natural flavors” btw. I do not have sensitivities to real foods, I do have reactions to preservatives, and sweeteners. I recently bought some tea from another company and was pleased to see that the only ingredient was the tea flowers. I did not have an issue with that.. I’m curious about your orange Popsicle flavored tea. Are the essential oils extracted from a popsicle plant?

The layout was super awesome, the staff was friendly and beyond professional, and the there were lots of tea options. We got to try some samples before picking one. Was a really good experience and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Definitely am visiting again in the future.
