What a charming little place! Not a place of you are in a big hurry (we were not). One waitress and one cook but everything exactly as we ordered. Yummy “chips” aka sliced potatoes fried. Nothing pre-cooked so very fresh. I have the rice bowl with steak and five choice veggies lightly salted in oil. My option was light but son had the smash burger!

I had the Philly Cheese which was delicious. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak with brown gray, that he loved! This is 1 of his favorite dishes and for him to say it was really good is quite the compliment. We will definitely be back when we are passing through!! Gabby's Diner is a must stop!! Our waitress Tonya was just the sweetest, she did a great job! Great Food, Amazing People and an Ambiance that takes you back in time!!

This place seems to be a hidden gem that's been in plain site for many years. The food is great, the staff is friendly and attentive. Why truckers go to eat Indian food next door over this place is a mystery. If you're ever in or driving through Grants/Milan New Mexico, I highly recommend you stop here.

We stopped in while traveling, I got the Bacon Fire Loaded smash burger and it was the best burger I have ever eaten. Everyone in my family loved their food. It was a great place to rest and enjoy a meal after a long day. I will be thinking about that burger for a long time.

Nice little place with a nostalgic look of a soda shop. Food was pretty good. Chicken fried steak was large and seafood pasta was well made. Some of the best sweet tea around. Would highly recommend

Had burgers for lunch. They were really good and HUGE. The homemade chips were warm and yummy. Service was great, very friendly. A true throwback diner from the 50s. Only negative was that their freezer was on the blink so no ice cream available for milkshakes!
