Cute little eatery in the middle of Mora. We stopped to get 2 Malt Milkshakes mainly because it was one of a few places open on a Sunday. The atmosphere was that of a small 50s diner. Cute decor & mainly locals enjoying a Sunday meal. The waitress was extremely kind & knowledgeable about the questions we had regarding their desserts.
I'm so glad we stopped here. It was one of the best malt shakes I've had in awhile. We had a chance to glance at the menu which was pretty vast as they serve a variety of foods.. from New Mexican to a burger & fries. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area or want to stop for a sweet treat on your road trip like we did! We'll definitely be back! 😊

Try the chocolate malt shakes!
When I’m in Mora and it’s lunch time, this is where I go! The owners are friendly and Rene usually stops by our table to see how our meal was and visit for a minute. Admittedly I nearly always order the brisket tacos (because they’re sooo good) but other people with me order the burgers and fries and they love them as well. The salsa is homemade and the fries are perfection. Love the decor and music. Not the newest, fanciest building in town, but that’s part of the charm of this place. The prices are very good. I can get three tacos, rice and beans (or fries) for what other places charge for three subpar tacos alone.
GREAT tasting food! Rene greeted us and shared amazing life stories with us. We had the French Toast, eggs, bacon, juevos rancheros. We felt welcomed as tourists. Friendly locals. Sopapillas were on the house! Clean and cute decor! Customer service was amazing. Highly recommend!
Oh my god I loved it here. Excellent people, and great food.
Rene and his wife have a great dining experience here. There is food available on the menu for any diet and appetite. The New Mexican food is what locals love to eat in northern New Mexico. New Mexican food changes in different areas of the state. Try anything and it will be prepared like it has been cooked at home for many years. This is a small town and the people here are wonderful and happy to have you in.
Visited at the recommendation of one of my customers here. Great little place, very friendly people and good food at good prices. I had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings, will have to come back and try more from the menu.
Nice breakfast, quick service, and reasonable price.
Best Trout EVER !!!
Really excellent food. Home cooking and everything is fresh. The owner came and spoke and was very nice. Do not miss his if you are passing through.
