Nice little place, but the New Mexican food was too bland for me, more Tex-Mex than New Mexican. But it's really a neat little place, with murals of gardens and garden gates all over the walls-worth the trip just to see them. I really wish I had thought to take a pictureà
9/10/23Great food but not worth the almost two hour wait. We had plenty of tea and chips, but it took forever to get our food. The waitress gave us our drinks for free. WOW! Came close to leaving $5 and walking out. If you’re in a hurry don’t go there! First time to eat there so not sure the reason for the wait?
We went on a busy Sunday at lunch, the service was quick, but they were either short staffed or not prepared for the customer load. They are one of the few restaurants open on Sunday in Portales, so they should have been. But, they were quick to get food out, and it was great as always!
